How to treat tired looking eyes?

admin August 27th, 2011

First, I’m a man. Age 18.

I’m very light skinned and i do stress easily and dont "always" get the best sleep, but even when im relaxing after a 10 hour sleep i still have purplish bags under my eyes and 2 little wrinkles under my eyes (which is common).

when i was a little younger in high school women would randomly stop me midsentence and tell me i have beautiful eyes (which was weird, but very flattering ahaha) but now, i feel my eye are hidden by my tired looking bags.

question: how important are your eyes to the opposite sex, and how can i treat this? creams? tricks? eye rollers?

i know this may sound a little femine, but my buddy’s gf actually asked me what was wrong with my face as she assumed i had been in a fight. i was understandabled appauled. im tired of these comments and im looking to have fresher face.

cheers!

Can I use anti-aging creams at 18?

admin August 26th, 2011

I know I am a little young to start using wrinkle creams but I really feel that I need them. I have been having really bad anxiety problems over the past year and a half or so and the stress from it has really taken a toll on my appearance. I have an anxiety disorder that causes you to be really stressed out like all of the time. I have sought treatment for it but it is still something that I struggle with. The stress it has caused has really aged me though. I honestly think I look about ten years older than I am or more in my face. I even had some gray hair. I have puffiness and a few wrinkles around me eyes and the skin on face is definitely not as firm and supple as it used to be. Stress can age you so badly so quickly and I just want to reverse some of the damage that has been done already. Right now I use a regular face lotion before I go to bed and then a dual spf and moisturizer for during the day plus moisture surge cream from clinique that isn’t for aging or anything. I just want to know of any good, anti-aging products that are out there that would be safe for my age. I also drink lots of water and eat healthy to take care of my skin. I also have very sensitive skin so I need something that isn’t too harsh. I probably couldn’t afford something that costs more than so something in the -50 range would be good. Any other skin care tips would be welcomed.

Terrible stretch marks HELP! picture attached?

admin August 25th, 2011

I just recently had a Csection 3weeks ago and now my stomach is wrinkled with stretch marks. I didn’t have stretch marks throughout my pregnancy but my last week I had to spend in the hospital, they came out of nowhere. Now my question is…

With my skin color(as you can see in the picture link attached below) that is not my natural skin color, I don’t know why my stomach is dark. I am fair skinned almost a tannish color. Now, is there any way I can get rid of these stretch marks while my skin is dark like this. I’ve read people of darker color can’t get rid of stretch marks. Is there any creams or lotions that REALLY work for these type of stretch marks. Or what specific cosmetic treatment(surgery) is pefered for this? I really want to get rid of this, it makes me sad when I look at my stomach and my boyfriend looks at it in disgust although he says its fine but I see that look on his face when he looks at my stomach. I really need good advice on this one. Palmers cocoa butter does not work so please do not reccomend it. If anyone else have gone through this and recovered with great results, your answers will be great. Please help me. Thank you

Should I see a dermatologist?

admin August 24th, 2011

I have kinda (not too bad) dry skin, I live on water and juices and keep my face moisturized. But I have a few fine lines and a couple of deep wrinkles right under my eyes. It bothers me so much and I’m only 21 (be 22 in a week) but it drives me nuts and I have tried all kinds of creams and cleansers and nothing helps. Should I go to a doctor? I have very low self esteem when it comes to my face and I sometimes wear makeup but it seems to show the lines even worse when I wear base.

Also, on my right eye, my eye lid sags more than my left. Like, it’s puffy. But I’ve had this for awhile and if I see a doctor can he do something for this as well? Please help, I don’t wanna be this way anymore but I don’t want surgery. I’m told I look really young but these small flaws are bringing me down. Any advice on what I can do? Can a dermatologist help me? Thanks for your help..

I'm 24 and have wrikles at the corners of my lips. Help please?

admin August 23rd, 2011

OK, I knew they were there but I recently bought a new liquid powder whcih only highlighted how bad things are. I do now smoke or drink, use plenty of water but hate all the moisturizers and creams and all the other stuff you put on your face (except for powders lol). That’s the way i am, i hate all the fats you rub into your skin and avoid all that stuff except for gels and like, but haven’t found one that would provide moisture and nutrition for my skin as they usually are water based. So, is it because i do not care enough for my skin or what? Ain’t I a bit too young for wrinkles? And, they are really visible and they are not fine lines, just horizontal wrinkles that "extend" my lips and then go a bit downwards, tehy are like one or one and a half cm long so I’m really worried. Thanks in advance :)

what are the best anti aging creams?

admin August 21st, 2011

i am 56 ,no real wrinkles, a line here and there, but face looks tired and starting to sag a little..My skin is sensitive, i have an occasional rosacea flareup. for the most part my "beauty" routine consists of rinsing face morning/night with cool water and sunblock. no makeup, nothing else. at night I use a moisturizer, no specific brand. I am a very busy, tired nurse who frequently works 60 hrs a week. Divorced for 5 years, and haven’t had as much as a door held open for me by a man, I would really like to try to improve my appearance. I realized I don’t even look into a mirror and want to look nice, for me. maybe have a life again! so, I want to know what I should be doing, I do eat a healthy diet and take vitamins, but what about skin care? also, make up? I am fair skinned, auburn hair (colored, as my hair is very dark). hazel eyes. I don’t think I even own any make up or even lip stick!! HELP..bring me up to date , please!! I’m not cheap..but don’t want to spend a horrendous amount on products. Thank you to all in advance for your help!!

I am 13 and have wrinkles(And under are darkness)! Please help!?

admin August 20th, 2011

Ok, well I started wearing makeup at a young age because I was fascinated with it and thought of it as a way to turn your face into a work of art that you can go so many different ways with, but I didn’t know it could cause wrinkles, no one told me. Well I’m 13 now and have wrinkles under my eye, and I really need them to go away. I have gone down with the bare minerals (thats the only cover up I use) so im not using as much, and i wear sunblock, but does anyone know of a way to get my wrinkles to go away? I’m really insecure about it and it makes me feel ugly and such. My mom says shes going to take me to a skin docter( I forgot what they are called) and find out how to get my wrinkles, and under eye darkness to go away. Is there a any creams that will work or even Botox? Please help me with this. Also, anyone know how to get rid of darkness and blackness under the eyes?

Is this proof white people steal, lol?

admin August 19th, 2011

I stay on the Southeast side of town where the presumably well to do good white folk stay. Up the street from me is a strip mall with a Harris Teeter. On the skin care aisle, there are two shelves of high priced wrinkle creams. They are all locked in a glass case, requiring a key from an employee to obtain.

19 with wrinkles and scars on forehead?

admin August 19th, 2011

I’m almost 19, and I just noticed I have wrinkles on my forehead. And when I think about it, I’ve had them for a couple years now. I guess after the years of squinting my eyes and raising my eyebrows when doing my makeup, I developed wrinkles on my forehead. They are 2 lines, plus I have pimple scars from when I used to get lots of acne on my forehead a few years back. I can never wear my hair up, or out of face, and pictures with my forehead showing always get deleted. How do you get rid of wrinkles that aren’t from aging? I know there are creams to NOT age out there, but this isn’t from aging at all, just a consequence of facial expressions and such. And also can you get rid of scars that are on your forehead since there is less skin there?

How can I keep my 15 year-old skin healthy now – and in the long run?

admin August 18th, 2011

Hi everyone!
I am a 15 year-old girl with normal/slightly oily skin. I wash my face gently and moisturize morning and night, and wear sunscreen if I’m going to be outside for any extended amount of time. I’m pretty happy with this routine, and right now, my skin looks great. I am able to control/cover breakouts when they come up, and my skin tone is even. I know, however, that this is mostly due to the fact that I am a teenager and my skin hasn’t endured much yet. My complexion is very nice now, but that could change when I get older (wrinkles, spots etc.) But does it have to? My question is: how can I care for my skin now to keep it healthy and good-looking as I get older?

How can I PREVENT wrinkles?

admin August 17th, 2011

I’m 14 years old, and I have pretty nice skin. It’s slightly above average, but not flawless haha. I want to know how to take care of my skin to prevent wrinkles in the future. Don’t say boutox, Ew. Or facelift. They look hilarious, and wrong lol. Thanks!

Hydro-cortisone contribute to lines and wrinkles???Psoriasis and chemical peels?

admin August 17th, 2011

I use hydro-cortisone to help control my psoriasis on my face. Being out in the sun helps to keep my face clearer, but neither of them completely clear it up. I used diprolene which worked great, but it stopped my periods for 6 months, gave me multiple bloody noses a day, and caused hair loss. I don’t want to take any drugs that increase my risk of skin cancer. I’ll take my chances with the sun.

I have noticed that I’m getting fine lines on my face. I’m getting older, I get that. I haven’t used sunscreen in over a dozen years. What I find interesting is that I only have lines on my forehead where I’ve used the hydro-cortisone cream. It is on the inside part of the car, so it’s not like it’s getting more sun exposure then the other side. I also use salicylic acid face wash too. Of course I use it on my entire face.

I also have severe psoriasis on my scalp. Of course the sun can’t get there. If I perm or color it, the chemicals actually burn it severely. It all scabs up, sometimes bleeds for a day, then it is clear for about a couple weeks. Do you think a chemical peel would help the facial psoriasis?? Have you heard of anything that I could try???

I’m really sick of dealing with it. I’m very self conscious about it on my face. At least it isn’t visible in my hair.

Which cream would you recommend so it can fix my relative's forehead wrinkles?

admin August 16th, 2011

A month ago my relatives forehead was fine, it had only a bit of wrinkles, and then she used the "Neurtogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream" for about a but she noticed a negative difference, it would seem as if her forehead deflated much like a balloon, which resulted in many more wrinkles than ever before. Now she does not know what cream to put on her face so she can fix her forehead so that it would look like a month ago. She tried to use loreal anti-aging cream so that her skin would be firm but did not work, so she is using an olay cream and still not difference, no results. Now she does not know what to do so that her forehead would be firm again instead of a deflated balloon. So of you know of any cream that may help her? Something that really works!

Does Sperm help acne and wrinkles?!?

admin August 15th, 2011

I got in a convesation with this woman a few weeks ago and i asked her about her skin.
She has flawless skin but she told me it wasnt always like this.
She used to have lots of acne and tried alot of creams and medications and she told me SPERM actually helped her clear it up.
This sounded weird to me especially when she told me she collected it from her boyfriend 3 times a week and rubbed it on her face.
Does anyone think shes crazy?
Is there truth to this?
Sperm is high in proteins could it help reduce wrinkles!

Chapter One – The First Meeting

"So what do you think…?" she said, running her finger along the rim of her coffee glass. She tucked her ponytail behind her ear, and blew out the steams before folding her fingers around the glass.

"I-I don’t know…" I stuttered, fiddling with the menu nervously. She pulled down the scarf off her neck to expose her cleavage, and pressed her lips against the glass handle as she stared at me with her gorgeous eyes.

"I see you’re not interested then… I guess I should ask someone else" She mumbled, tilting the glass towards her lips to taste the whipped cream that started spilling out of it. Her Scottish beauty turned into a mask that camouflaged her expression. I wondered how many guys she had captivated with her alluring stare. I wanted to say yes, but something in her voice made me so reluctant that I decided to stay with my old decision.

"You’re thinking too hard young man" she continued, resting her chin on her palm and held up one finger to fling her blonde-pony over her shoulder. The color of her hair matched amazingly with her pale skin, rolling the edges of it around her finger as I spoke.

"Sorry Ma’am, but I don’t think you’re right about me. I will just disappoint you…" I claimed, shoving my chair away from the table to stand up. Her eyes flickered towards the waiter whose back faced me.
"Going somewhere?" she asked, fluttering her eyelashes like a model. Before I could response, the waiter showed up. A little smirk spread across his devious face.

"Can I help you sir?" I asked politely, looking up at him. He glared back at me, and quickly wrote down all what we had ordered on a sheet and flung it onto the table. It was the bill. He charged me for everything, even for what I had not ordered.

"This is our bill?"I asked as if I did not know. He brushed his bronze pony aside, trying to accentuate his innocent expression. His tightened tie contributed to achieve the modest appearance.

"What does it look like?" he asked sarcastically. I had only a few cents in my wallet, but I pretended to be fumbling for more. His eyes narrowed.

"Looking for something sir?" he asked in confusion.

"They must be here somewhere…" I mumbled. I started sweating, pushing up the sleeves of my shirt and running my hands down the full length of my jeans, nothing was found.
"Are you okay?" she asked, turning her head a half way to face me. "You don’t look so good…" She pulled out one hundred dollar bill out of her purse and threw it at the table. The bill skidded across it and stopped as it touched my elbow.

"Is it enough?" she asked without even looking at the bill. The waiter raised his eyebrow, looking at her purse, it was full of them.

"Yes, thanks Miss…?" he thanked her, waiting for her response.

"-Victoria" she answered before his tone echoed in the background. He squinted at me for a long moment, and crushed the bill angrily in his hairy-brown hand. It crumpled and wrinkled into a ball as he shoved it in his rear pocket, and turned his back at me.

"What’s his problem?" I hissed, looking over my shoulder to make sure he was not listening. She chuckled, zipping her purse a half way and dropping it under the table that the bills in it were scattered around the leg of the chair. Her expression was unreadable now. The laugh lines that constantly appeared on the edges of her lips showed she was being pleasant, but still, I was not sure.

"Problem?" she asked, sliding her fingers into the handle of her coffee glass, lifting it a bit while talking. "Oh I don’t think he has a problem, but maybe you do…" I opened my eyes widely. Her soft voice made this word sound as if having a problem was a good thing. I shook my head quickly and moved the handkerchief all the way along my lips to wipe off the sauce.

"Why should I have a problem?" I asked her, still holding it to hide my expression. She clasped her hands together and giggled stupidly.

"You’re dating a girl and expect her to pay for everything you ordered…"
