Hey everyone, I have never really had a problem with acne so much before, as I am 16 now and I know it’s a common thing for my age. In the past I may have had a few zits and whatever else is in that red 3D flow uglifying my face lol (you know what I mean) but it’s coming to a point now where I can’t control it and it’s taking over.. Any suggestions? I can’t keep washing my face with those oily skin cleansers because I have EXTREMELY dry skin and it hurts after water has touched it I almost have exema.. (or however you spell it). And tips? PLEASE HELP ME!

So I was using an acne spot treatment. On one pimple, it seems like it cut my skin. It’s very red and feels rough, like if I were to scrape my skin. I’m afraid it will stay like this. Is there any way to make it heal fast? I stopped using the spot treatment and started using an Oatmeal cleanser because it does not hurt my skin.
I really want it not red and to be healed.

I get few pimples occaisionally on my forehead and/ or chin. I use Clinique’s three step system day and night, and I have sensitive skin. I’m looking for a gentle acne treatment that will help the occaissonal outbreak. By the way, I’m allergic to benzyol peroxide.

Recently i’ve been getting breakouts on my face, proactive isnt working so i’m going to start using "AVON clearskin purifying gel cleanser", i also want to start using a moisturizer, i have "Aveeno positively ageless daily moisturizer SPF 30". I was wondering if it would be too much for my skin, or would it be alright to use right after i did used the acne treatment?

Not too expensive or abrasive. I currently have pretty dry, flaky skin. I get oily sometimes, too. Please HELP! I really want something to work QUICKLY! Thanks! Oh and also, Accutane is out of the question. I was told my acne isn’t severe enough and it’s too dangerous for me. And please, no scams. :/

I have very oily skin & a lot of acne. I have tried Proactive, Clean & Clear, a LOT of over the counter products & nothing seems to work for my face. Right now I am using Exposed Skin Care & I have been using it for a month & a half now & i have seen no improvement in my skin. My other scrubs I am also using is Neutrogena Deep Clean, St. Ives Blackhead & Blemish, & Biore Pore Scrub. I do not over wash my face. I only wash it in the morning & at night. I wash my makeup off like I should but i haven’t found the perfect stuff for me. Does anyone know of anything that is great? I have also went to the dermatologist & there stuff did not work & i am not getting Accutane.

I have a greasy complexion, and that in addition to stress, it has taken a toll on my skin. Is there an acne treatment that you have used that has actually worked for you?

So I haven’t used one of these before and I wasnt sure if I know need to go buy a cleanser or something or if it just means I need to wash my face before I use it

I wash my face twice a day with Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash, but it doesn’t really work. I always see adds on TV for different acne treatments, but how do I know if they’re for real? I need a tretment for combination skin (skin that is oily in some places and dry in other patche) that prevents and treats breakouts.
Help?

I’m highly considering Proactive but maybe there’s something better that will work faster. I’m looking for something that will work as fast as possible because school is starting soon for me, and I think most of you understand how bad it feels when you have this huge ass pimple and you don’t want to go to school just for it.

I have oily skin, mild acne, and dark spots (from peeling previous breakouts). I have tried Proactiv, and Neutrogena and neither of them worked. Even if your’e not african american, what do you think would work for me?

I am leaving for camp soon and you cant go with tons of acne on your forehead and chin. Especially the horrible blackheads on your nose. I have very sensitive skin, even Proactive makes my skin very irritated. I have less than a week to go to camp and i wash my face everyday with the AcneFree sensitive skin treatment, nothing special. I need a possible treatment that works fast with mildly sensitive skin. Thanks

I have used Retin-A cream (actually its generic tretinoin) on and off for almost a year. When I first started using it, my skin was painfully inflamed for about 2 months and peeling too. My acne got worse. Then the skin started sloughing off revealing new skin that was smoother but I still get acne. Although not as often, I still occasionally get deep nodular acne at my jaw and neckline. How long have people used it and seen good results? Do you have to use it pretty much the rest of your life?
