anti-wrinkle cream, using too soon?

admin November 27th, 2011

I have a sample of no7 protect and perfect cream, which is meant for ages 25-35. I am 23. I tried this cream on lastnight with my usual vitamin 3 cream on top because my face still felt a bit dry. I have acne prone skin but in winter it tends to get very dry and sometimes flaky so i apply loads of moisturiser with spf in it.

I have heard that using anti-wrinkle creams at the wrong age can sometimes speed up the aging process, so even though i woke up today and teh cream seemed to have made me skin glow i’m a little worried about continuing to use it, in case it does end up making me look older sooner.

what do you think, should i wait untill i’m 25 or older, or start using now?

thanks.

AM I TOO YOUNG TO BUY AN EYE CREAM?

admin October 13th, 2011

I’m 13 but today (like less than 10mins ago) I saw fine WRINKLES under my eyes!!!

I am SO worried! All my friends have wrinkles under their eyes and it’s really ugly… I cleanse my face 3 times a
Day on weekdays and I use a cleanser and toner and lotion from loreal (cleanser) and the toner and lotion is from Johnson johnsons. In the day time I use my daily moisurizer that has 30spf in it from aveeno.

But is it too young to buy eye cream? To moisturize better? Cause the lotion I have is drying cause it’s for acne (prevention… I don’t have any .. Yet?) and yeah. So am I too young? I’m not talking about eye wrinkle creams but just MOISTURIZERS for under the eyes.

I’ve read all the things about preventions for wrinkles and from tonight I’ll start! But if I were to go to the mall and buy clarins or clinique or something high end brand of eye MOISTURIZING cream would I be too young? My mom thinks if I use it too early then it wont work when I REALLY need it.. So help?): Im 5′8 so I did hit puberty 0.o. Thanks! I’m 13 and a girl btw. And I have contacts and in the mornings I do struggle a bit with putting them in and I do like stretch out the skin):

Can I use anti-aging creams at 18?

admin August 26th, 2011

I know I am a little young to start using wrinkle creams but I really feel that I need them. I have been having really bad anxiety problems over the past year and a half or so and the stress from it has really taken a toll on my appearance. I have an anxiety disorder that causes you to be really stressed out like all of the time. I have sought treatment for it but it is still something that I struggle with. The stress it has caused has really aged me though. I honestly think I look about ten years older than I am or more in my face. I even had some gray hair. I have puffiness and a few wrinkles around me eyes and the skin on face is definitely not as firm and supple as it used to be. Stress can age you so badly so quickly and I just want to reverse some of the damage that has been done already. Right now I use a regular face lotion before I go to bed and then a dual spf and moisturizer for during the day plus moisture surge cream from clinique that isn’t for aging or anything. I just want to know of any good, anti-aging products that are out there that would be safe for my age. I also drink lots of water and eat healthy to take care of my skin. I also have very sensitive skin so I need something that isn’t too harsh. I probably couldn’t afford something that costs more than so something in the -50 range would be good. Any other skin care tips would be welcomed.

Is this proof white people steal, lol?

admin August 19th, 2011

I stay on the Southeast side of town where the presumably well to do good white folk stay. Up the street from me is a strip mall with a Harris Teeter. On the skin care aisle, there are two shelves of high priced wrinkle creams. They are all locked in a glass case, requiring a key from an employee to obtain.

Is my skin care routine good?

admin April 19th, 2011

This is my skin care routine:

At morning:
- Facial cleanser
- Toner
- Moisture cream with SPF 20
(Their both from the same brand)

At night:
- Face cleanser camommile (this one is alot gentlier)
- 2 in 1 Make up remover/Toner (Same brand as the face cleanser)
- Anti-wrinkle cream

- Exfoliant once or twice a week

Their all made of natural ingredients and sometimes at the morning i even apply SPF 15/hydratant foundation because in the magazine they said the day cream could be applied before it. I know you may say that 19 is too early to start using anti-wrinkle creams but i had combo skin not too oily and since i started taking the birth control due to some hormonal problems (Diane 35 usually taken to treat acne) my skin got really dry and in just a few months it got quite wrinkled… So i just wanted to know if my routine was ok? Thank you <3 :)

How can an 18 year old get rid of wrinkles?

admin February 1st, 2011

I dealt with very bad eczema around my eyes from august to december 2009 and i still have to use elidel to keep my eczema from coming back. But i’ve noticed, comparing my face now to pictures in the past before I had my eczema that I have so many more wrinkles under my eyes when I smile. Before, I had none. Now I do. No matter what I do, they won’t go away. I hate them! i should not have to worry about this at 18! I look really tired, no matter how much under eye makeup i use and brightening eye shadow. I tried some wrinkle creams but I don’t want to get anything expensive.

any ideas on what i can do?!
my skin should still have elasticity so cant i change it?

Why is it that women care so much about their looks? They look wonderful just the way they are!?

admin January 23rd, 2011

This is for all you young gals(from 18 to 180years of age!)out there! I just don’t gettit! Why is it that you waste so much money on anti-wrinkle creams, skin bleach, lipsticks, lip glosses, eye shadow, blush…bla bla bla?
My mom and sis have streatch marks and they go on, and on about how much they’d like to get rid of them. I honestly don’t understand why! Those "wretched" marks make them look like tigers! I think it would be really sad to get rid of them!
And about that extra fat here and there?? Belly fat especially. It looks so naturally human! No normal man likes bone thin women! Their good to look at but not to hold!(they might break, or something!)! Haven’t you seen those gorgeous belly dancers? Their bellies are a far cry from those rib-showing tummies most women desire!
Lastly, those cute dimples every women hates to see on her thighs…cellulite! What’s the problem with that? Isn’t it supposed to be as normal as dimples on your cheeks??

Please help me understand why!

How can I dress younger and still professional?

admin January 4th, 2011

I am only in my early 20’s however I dress and style my hair like I am in my mid forties. Hair, clothes…the whole nine yards. I want to know three things. Where can I shop and get young clothes with a professional flare? What are some hair styles for shoulder length hair that do not make me look like my morning news anchor woman? What publications can I subscribe to that support the life and style of a young professional married mother of one who does not want to look like an older woman.

I do not have any skin problems. I have a young looking face and am in good shape so exercise and wrinkle creams are not needed. The problem is I look like a young girl playing dress up right now. Its bad…..Thanks for your help.

Is it possible to stay EXACTLY the way you are as a teenager (mentally, that is) your whole life?

admin December 16th, 2010

For example, let’s say you dress really weird and out there… for example, in bright neon colors… because, you LIKE HOW IT LOOKS. You don’t want to wear pencil skirts and uniforms and eleastic waistband pants. You want to KEEP THE STYLE YOU HAVE. Is that even possible?

Or, let’s say you have a fun and exciting life, and lots of weird ideas and stuff. But all around you, you see adults doing exactly what their boss tells them to, hating their jobs and stressing about everything, counting the days until the weekend. Doing the same thing over and over again: Wake up. Work. Eat dinner. Sleep. Repeat. What if you don’t want that? Can you just stay the way you are?

And then there’s the physical aspect of things. Now, this is probably extremely unreasonable. But, let’s say you’d love to never get wrinkles. But you still want to live a really long time. If you.. used wrinkle creams religiously…. and wore sunscreen 24-7… that probably wouldn’t help, would it? :( What about skin transplants on your face?! =O Okay, okay. I’ll stop. xD
And then, the other part of getting older. Does your body necessarily HAVE to change? What if you excercise all the time?
GAH.
Ok.
I’m done.
xD
I probably sound stupid.
:)
Your thoughts?
(Oh, and btw… this is for an art project. We’re supposed to think of a "big question" and research it, and then make our answer into a collage. And this was the one that I think best fits me xD although it’snot very… refined. But you get my drift. :D )

what facial skin care should I use?

admin November 24th, 2010

I am 26 years old and my skin is a bit dry but pretty normal in general. I have been trying some not very expensive products but I was wondering should I start using anti-wrinkle creams or is it too early for me? I don’t have many wrinkles yet and I am not sure should I start using anti-wrinkle cream for prevention? Also I have got the same question for the eyes…

What's your skincare routine?

admin November 15th, 2010

How old are you?
What type of skin do you have?
And what products do you use to take care of your face? ie: Facewash, creams, acne treatments, spot treatments and/or wrinkle creams and serums?

Thanks!

Skin Care Products?

As we age we notice wrinkles! Do you use wrinkle creams? If so what kind? Are they effective?

I turned 20 now how can I keep my skin young?

admin September 23rd, 2010

Today I was told after you hit 21 its all down hill. I don’t really believe it but im really wanting to take care of my skin by means of wrinkle prevention. I still have acne sadly so I really don’t want to layer all kinds of stuff on my skin. Should I use anti wrinkle creams or vitamins or drink more water what?

Do you have a hard time deciding on which cosmetics to use?

admin August 21st, 2010

Tanners or moisturizers, wrinkle creams or repair creams, sunscreens or eye creams, daytime creams or night creams, foot and hand creams, celluit creams…

Seems like the cosmetic world wants us to spend all our time on creaming ourselves for nothing. Sometimes, I find myself drawn into the cosmetic world by attractive commercials like "Use this cream for your elbows" "Use this one for your eyes" "Use this on your celluits" "This cream is perfect for aging" "This body cream will make your skin super smooth" But then I realize I can’t do that for life! Man, it’s a lot of time and money. So, now I only use a moisturizer with spf on my face and tanner on my legs and arms in summers.

I wonder what other women use and how they feel about cosmetics.
