What should a teen apply on her face?

admin April 12th, 2012

I have a friend she is 13 and she is asking what should she put on her face. Her skin type is normal, not too dry, not too oily. She has pimples and blackheads and stuff like other teenagers out there. Should she apply products such as eye cream, acne serum, anti-wrinkle cream, hydrating serum, moisturizer, etc.?

Which cream would you recommend so it can fix my relative's forehead wrinkles?

admin August 16th, 2011

A month ago my relatives forehead was fine, it had only a bit of wrinkles, and then she used the "Neurtogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream" for about a but she noticed a negative difference, it would seem as if her forehead deflated much like a balloon, which resulted in many more wrinkles than ever before. Now she does not know what cream to put on her face so she can fix her forehead so that it would look like a month ago. She tried to use loreal anti-aging cream so that her skin would be firm but did not work, so she is using an olay cream and still not difference, no results. Now she does not know what to do so that her forehead would be firm again instead of a deflated balloon. So of you know of any cream that may help her? Something that really works!

How to prevent wrinkles?

admin July 25th, 2011

I’m 19 years old, and right now I am worried about having a lot of wrinkles in the future. I want to start doing as much as I can now to minimize the amount of wrinkles I will have when I get older.
Would putting a lot of wrinkle cream from now until I am older help?

Also, I have heard that putting sunscreen on your face can help protect the skin from sun damage which causes wrinkles, but everytime I put it on my face, it makes my face extremely oily and causes it to get many pimples. So is there any other way to protect my face from the sun?

Any other information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is their a way to lotion my face without tugging or pulling skin?

admin July 21st, 2011

I recently found out that tugging or pulling your skin will cause wrinkles and I have a huge problem. I have this really thick lotion I use for my face and whatever motion my hands rub on my face it pulls my skin up and down with it. So heres my question for you…

Q1. Is their another method of lotioning that doesn’t pull my skin.
Q2. Is their a wrinkle cream that I could use to prevent wrinkles?

A1. ?
A2.?

Has anyone tried RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum?

admin July 18th, 2011

I’m in my early 20’s and I hear that in order to have less wrinkles at an older age, is to prevent them before they start. So I decided to try out this face anti-wrinkle cream, and it seems to work because I have been feeling my skin tighter and even my mom has notice some differences, but the problem is that it stings our faces a bit. We both have dry skin, so I’m not sure if that could be a reason, but I would still like to know if anyone has had the same problem or is that suppose to happen? Thanks.

What's a good, low-budget beauty or fashion magazine?

admin July 7th, 2011

I’m 33, and I haven’t had any idea what was "in style" in several years. (Apparently, last year was the year of the skinny jean; I learned about that towards the end.) As I’m finding the "no style" look doesn’t play as well in my thirties as it did in my twenties, I would like to start looking not only more fashionable, but just plain better. I do, however, have much higher financial priorities. We’re probably having a baby this year, and there are house improvements we’d like to make, so I’m not buying 0 dresses.

Sorry if that’s too much background info, but my question is, what beauty or fashion magazines really offer helpful advice without steering readers to certain labels or high-end beauty lines? Skeptics claim that most fashion magazines exist exclusively to serve their advertisers (which is why skin care articles are accompanied by wrinkle cream ads, etc.); which magazines go the farthest in avoiding this, offering genuine (and preferably low-cost) advice?

Why are teenagers using wrinkle cream?

admin June 23rd, 2011

Some girls in my school said they use wrinkle cream because they dont want to get old. Their skin looks really tight and ugly but they dont care as long as they dont age. Is it just me or is that really weird. Im scared of getting old too but that’s just crazy. My friend ashley said that if u start using wrinkle cream now then u wont get any when u get old.

What do you think of htis?

admin June 5th, 2011

Whats the best skin care regime for skin at the age of 20? Should you use anti wrinkle cream at that age or mosituriser? I heard you should wear sunscreen everyday as well.

I am confused about a good skin care regime. My skin can go from dry to greasy.

What should i write on these topics regarding skin care products?

admin May 14th, 2011

I’ve been told to write articles about these topics:
Anti Wrinkle Cream Anti-Line/Wrinkle Eye Care Cream
Is there anyone who knows the kind of content that I should write. I am unsure whether it should be general or i am supposed to narrow in on specific products. Any help will be ok.

Think 18 is too young to start using anti-wrinkle eyecream?

admin April 22nd, 2011

I’m 18 and I have very fair porcelan skin. I try hard to take care of it. I use olay lotion after washing and I started using olay regenerate eye cream around my eyes. I heard the younger you start using anti-wrinkle cream the better. True?

Is my skin care routine good?

admin April 19th, 2011

This is my skin care routine:

At morning:
- Facial cleanser
- Toner
- Moisture cream with SPF 20
(Their both from the same brand)

At night:
- Face cleanser camommile (this one is alot gentlier)
- 2 in 1 Make up remover/Toner (Same brand as the face cleanser)
- Anti-wrinkle cream

- Exfoliant once or twice a week

Their all made of natural ingredients and sometimes at the morning i even apply SPF 15/hydratant foundation because in the magazine they said the day cream could be applied before it. I know you may say that 19 is too early to start using anti-wrinkle creams but i had combo skin not too oily and since i started taking the birth control due to some hormonal problems (Diane 35 usually taken to treat acne) my skin got really dry and in just a few months it got quite wrinkled… So i just wanted to know if my routine was ok? Thank you <3 :)

Mirror Mirror on the wall….My Mirror Hates Me?

admin April 7th, 2011

I’m 40…when I was in my 20’s & 30’s I was the "shit", it was sweet. But the later 30’s and now 40 ugh… I lost my sexy! I haven’t wore make up in years. I had a clean face and groomed hair, just trying barely. I want to change my beauty around. I use Neurgema wrinkle cream…BUT my eyes look aweful…older than I am!! I really need tips and ideas to skin care and even make up to help me be pretty and sexy again. It sucks in so many ways about getting older. Thanks

I'm 13 and use anti wrinkle cream?

admin March 30th, 2011

I’m 13 and I use anti wrinkle cream. You see, I have smile lines and ever since I started using it I haven’t had any. My friends make fun of me sometimes (teasing basically) and my mom says it’s unneccesary.

I’ve started using face masks, face creams, face wash, anything that can help my face. So far, I’ve got over 10 face creams, 6 eye creams, and 9 nighttime creams. The daytime ones all have SPF 15. So far, my skin has looked better than ever and I’ve gotten prettier and more popular. Everyone says they love my skin and how it glows.

My mom says I need to cool it down with all the skincare products but I don’t want to end up like my cousin (she has acne on her face like everwhere).

Should I cool it down or is what i’m doing fine?

What skin care routine is best for me?

admin March 28th, 2011

I’m not quite sure what kind of skin care routine I should start with. I usually get blackheads on my nose, but lately I’ve been getting deep pimples under my eyes, along my hairline, and my forehead. They’re pretty painful, and I tend to be a picker, so I figured I would nip it in the bud and just start taking better care of my skin. I have somewhat oily skin and I tend to wear makeup, and on top of that I sleep next to my boyfriend who has EXTREMELY oily skin and hair. I’m wondering what some suggestions would be for:
-face wash
-moisturizer
-eye cream
-make up remover
-serum
-anti-wrinkle cream
-emollient cream
-base

I’m not very girly, and don’t know much about brands or what’s best for oily skin. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

anti-ageing, is this true ?

admin February 12th, 2011

apparently from a young age (say a teenager) puts on suncream on their face everyday
before going out even if they live in a not so sunny country (say england) then this will help them when their older say 40-50 and there skin will be so much more youthful and unaged because the sun ages you, is this true ??

also are you supposed to use anti-wrinkle cream from 21 to have a decent effect by the time your 40-50 ?

Why do people get botox?

admin January 28th, 2011

Why to people get botox? Okay, so forgive me, but I’m only sixteen years old. I don’t want to offend anyone who has had botox. I’m just merely curious. Why do you get it? Most people I’ve heard of having botox, seem to either hate it or others think they looked better before the botox. My aunt recently got botox and her lips look like the jokers… She used to be so pretty. I mean, she is still pretty, but less so. She doesn’t look happy about it, either. I just don’t understand. You’re already beautiful, so why do you try to mess with that? When I’m older, I will embrace my wrinkles. I think it’s a sign that I in fact lived a great life. Wrinkles are just a sign of getting older. Is that why people want to make them disappear? They don’t want to get older? Is that it? It seems like a lot of them want to look like they are 25 again… I would rather just look my age. Another thing, some of them wear way too much makeup. What happened to natural beauty? I don’t see any problem with using a little makeup, but some go way overboard. It’s like they’re wearing a face mask. Have you seen that Today Show episode where Kathy and Hoda bravely took off their makeup? Wow… You know, they didn’t necessarily look bad, but I think the reason they look so much better with makeup, is because over the years, the makeup actually messed up their skin or something. That’s why I just take care of my skin, instead of covering my face up. I don’t think makeup is all that healthy.

Anyway, I want to hear your opinions. When I’m older, if somebody says I should get botox, I’m going to slap them. I know there is a lot of pressure on famous people, but some of them need to learn how to respect themselves and see themselves as beautiful. I’ve heard that women as young as twenty are getting botox or using wrinkle cream… I’m sorry, but that’s just really sad.

Oh, by the way, I never see Meg Ryan in movies anymore. She mysteriously stopped after getting botox for her lips… I wonder if that’s the reason why she hasn’t been in many movies lately?
I have no problem with people using it for health purposes. I have a problem with people who use it just to make themselves ‘prettier’ or ‘younger’…
