First i am 15, ok, so i used to the perfect skin, rarely ever got pimples or anything. Then one day about 6 months ago, bam! Bunches of pimples across my face and it just got worse and worse after that. It got worse and worse. I tried proactive, it kinda worked, so i decided it was the hormonal pimples ause no products worked. I waited it out and everything, no, no more pimples. Skin is back to normal. right?
Wrong! Just on my forehead, above my eyes, is the skin the loose, saggy, and almost wrinkly.
1. How do i get my skin tight again? ((Moisturizers/Wrinkle stopping creams do not work so don’t say that))
My pores are huge on my forehead now,
2. Any way to reduce pores?? ((Toners don’t work either))
I have hyper pigmented skin and a few rolling/ice pick scars
3. Any way to fill these in and heal faster??
I need some serious help because nothing is working for me. Home remedies would be nice, I do have drs. appointment in a couple weeks too.
the ice pick scars are really small by the way. I just don’t want them to get worse

I suffer from mild inflammatory acne/oilly skin since i was 16, im 19 now. For the past year and a half ive been using harsh creams and antibiotics given to me by a "good" dermatologist. Ever since i started to "treat" my skin my skin has been dry to say the least. Especially since i started with Epiduo a couple of monthes back which left me looking like a raisin(bit exaggerated). I looked bad lets put it at that. I was fed up, i left all the acne creams and went all natural. I wash my face 2x a day with Avene Cleanance gentle wash for young acne-prone skin. In the morning i apply Oat mousse, which softens and hydrates my skin. At night, i wash my face, apply the mousse again and place pure aloe vera gel (make sure it doesn’t clog pores) over the mousse and go to sleep. It works great, my skin is regenerating very fast, hydrated, and acne free. Hydration and management of the oil on your face is all you need to avoid acne. Treat the cause at the root, not when it appears. It’s like preventing wrinkles whereas putting makeup over the wrinkles. Aloe vera prevents wrinkles and it cleans your skin in a very very mild way while making it pretty. Email me at: invad3d_data@yahoo.com if you need any tips from someone who has done alot to cure his skin problems and has finally found a great, non consequencial way to manage my skin. Doing this regime will keep my skin wrinkle free ![]()

For about 2-3 years or so now ive had this small bump right in the wrinkle between my upper lip and cheek, just next to my nose. At first i thought it was a pimple that just wouldnt go away, i put all sorts of creams and astringents on it with no real luck, it shrank for a time but then came right back. I have this skin condition, keratosis pilaris AKA "chicken skin", where your body doesnt shed skin easily and your pores get clogged with these little "plugs", ive had a few odd ones around my lips and nose that stayed for years before i notice them and popped them out, but after MANY attempts to pop it nothing came out but clear liquid, i figured it was just some random skin tag/abnormality involving an overactive sweat gland/pore or something.
but recently, in a wild and crazy moment, i took a fresh x-acto blade to it, and then dug around with tweezers hoping to grab what i thought was a plug because there was definitely something hard deep inside it… but what FINALLY came out wasnt anything ive ever seen before. it was a wad of VERY thin tiny hairs or fibers covered in congealed blood??? i saved them by sticking them to a piece of tape because it was so bizarre….
i tried looking up some information about what it could be but all i can find is this pseudo-disease called "morgellons"… but its described as being about open wounds that wont heal and rashes and skin that feels like its crawling with parasites… and all I had was one small bump on my face so…. what the heck is it?
there was also the possibility that it was a clump of dead nerve endings, but why would they cause a bump to form on my face like that?
and i know i sound like i have some mental problem, but i didnt cut up or scar my face or anything, i was really careful. i mean its my face, im not crazy.
my pores are no where near large enough to accidentally suck up a clump of fibers that large.. the longest fiber was about half an inch… and its in a spot where hair doesnt grow, and i cant imagine why 5-10 hairs would be growing from one root anyway…. unless it was a super long coiled hair that just fell into pieces.. still very strange though.

Ok im 16 and im really into taking care of my skin. When I look at everybody there skin is so perfect. There skin seems tighter then mine (but I don’t have wrinkles). And also when you get really close to my skin you can see a bunch of pores and micro marks that just aren’t cute. Why isn’t my skin so perfect like so many people? How can I make all these marks disappear? They aren’t big… you cant even see them from far away… but when you get up close you can see them. Help!

My skin is oily all over. I breakout mostly underneath my chin, jawline and temples.
Right now I’m using L’Oreal’s Go 360 Clean Cleanser, St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Clearesil Spot Treatment. My face is starting to get itchy around my lips. What should I do?
I read a lot of magazines and their tips for women in their 20’s is to start anti-aging products now so skin will look better in the future. But afraid of pores clogging up with acne treatments, night creams, eye creams, neck creams and all the other things that are supposed prevent wrinkles in the future. What should my nighttime regimen be so that my skin will look its best?
Make-up. I like the natural look- little foundation, blush, lipstick, mascara and eyeliner. Once again I get these things from magazines. Primer, Foundation, Concealer. Where does sunscreen go in that order? What is the best foundation formula for oily/acne skin? Concealer?
How do I get rid of pitted scars?

My skin is dry and flaky all over which I have never experienced until this year. However, I get acne from everything and anything, even when something claims to be oil free it clogs my pores and breaks me out like crazy, especially on my back and shoulders. So is there any good lotion or face cream that is good for dryness and aging skin (I am in my late 20s so I have to think about preventing wrinkles now) but will not break me out? I also cannot use body wash anymore for acne because it dries me out too much. So any suggestions for body wash would be great, too. Please READ this carefully before answering because people will answer my questions and suggest products made for teens like clearasil. I cannot use that stuff because it dries my pre-aging skin out.
Can someone suggest a good foundation too? One that won’t rub off onto clothes? I use Neutrogena skin clearing foundation but that is starting to dry me out, too! I am thinking it’s just because of winter weather. How is Almay TLC foundation? With SPF? Will that break me out?

I HAVE:
* Keratosis Pilaris
* REDNESS REDNESS REDNESS!
* Bumps the same color as my skin
* Red bumps (often mistaken for acne but very different)
* Visible pores
* Oily skin on nose
* Dry skin on cheeks
WHAT I WANT:
* Coverage: For Redness, and even better… for the bumps (red and yellow – I’m ASIAN! XD)
* It to look natural, undetectable: I want my foundation to not show, if possible, even upclose. I already want to take off mineral powder off the list of products above because I have tried mineral powder and it shows powder on my face.. It should be blendable I guess.
* Make my skin look young and soft: I am just a teenager and already I am disgusted by my skin. Stupid Keratosis Pilaris… Anyways, like, I want the soft, bright, young skin look. I dont have wrinkles though, I think. Except the lines around my nose-mouth and the look of my cheeks hanging down my face.. That’s and exaggeration, LOL, it’s not so bad that anyone other than me might really notice.. xD
It would be better if you actually used a lot, or more than one, of these products, so you can actually compare, but any answers would be appreciated.
And yea I get the idea of putting on lotion/moisturizer or whatever before foundation..
I have used Bare Minerals Mineral Powder in Foundation and Concealer and the people from the store actually helped me pick those out. But then, when I wore it, the powder shows on my face… just like powder… It does provide excellent coverage, but I want to look natural.

I have oily skin with pores. But I was wondering that now I am 30, Should I begin using an age defying cream? if yes, which one is the best? I do not have wrinkles yet but yes my skin isnt as good as it was earlier. I was blessed with a baby in Nov and have very less time to take care of skin, so suggest some good and easy option to maintain my skin’s elasticity. Thanks.

I recently started using a 3-step acne treatment by Clean and Clear to control the mild to moderate acne that I have on my face. So far, it is working great, but my skin is starting to feel dry as a result of using the treatment twice a day (the recommended amount). Is there a moisturizer anyone could recommend that I could use to combat this dryness, but that won’t clog my pores or cause my acne to worsen again? I tend to have oily skin and the dryness is only the result of my acne products.

So, i have an appointment on monday. & i was wondering if acne treatment will peel my skin?
Like, all i know is that are going to steam my whole face in order to open my pores,
& like take them out or something?
HOWEVER, will it peel my skin?

Ok I moisturize and drink a ton of water daily, all my skin care products are herbal, I’ve found out the foods that I’m allergic to and I stay away from them, I don’t eat so much junk food or anything yet still my pores are huge and my skin doesn’t look smooth even from far! And I notice a lot of small wrinkles forming on my face at only 20 years old!
My usual process both morning and night are to cleanse, tone, moisturize and treat but I’ve only started this skin obsession thing just this year. Is it that I need to be patient and be doing it a lot longer than a couple of months in order to see any results or am I missing something out.
Oh and I work in a air-conditioned office and my job is at a computer all day long. How much of a role does this play concerning my skin?
Extra information would be that I live in the Caribbean… so everywhere else is hot once I step out of my office, I have naturally very dry skin… if I dont moisturize right after a hot bath then my skin will get all dried up and white and and it’s also extremely sensitive.. so stuff with a lot of chemicals in it usually burn until I wash it off and will leave a dark mark the next day.
Can anyone give any advice?

I am 33 years old and my skin is still that of a teenager. I use 2 or 3 prescription skin treatments per day; azelaic acid, Retin A and topical zinc and antibiotic lotion. I wash my face with a glycolic acid or salicylic acid face wash twice a day with a clarisonic and once a day I use a clearasil deep cleansing pad. I also steam and use a mask on my face at least once a week but often twice.
This all sounds like a lot and that my skin would be raw but it’s not this is the bear minimum I need to do to keep my skin soft and smooth. If I don’t do this it quickly becomes bumpy, congested, massive pores, oily, spotty etc. The only upside is that if I do use all of the above on a daily basis my skin is perfect like a babies bum, no lines or wrinkles etc at all and people always think I am 10 – 15 years younger than my age. My dad was the same.
I often regret not being able to use all the lovely skin care ranges my friends use from department stores and that I am stuck with a teenage bathroom shelf but perhaps it is worth it as my skin when clear does look really great .
Anyone else have this issue? Does it annoy you or are you grateful for the upside?
I’m not bragging if I don’t thin the upper layer of my skin with a ton of acids and medication I look like a warty toad, it’s awful but when I do my skin is like satin. I can’t believe the abuse my skin can take at this age!

now that i’m 18, i want to start taking good care of my skin so my face doesn’t look like leather when i’m old. i know i’m a little young to be worrying about wrinkles, but i just really want to have healthy skin. right now i just use an acne cleanser and some oil-free SPF moisturizer, but i think i need more. my skin is still pretty oily, but every now and then it will get dry on my cheeks. i still get acne sometimes, but not as much as i did when i was younger. basically, my skin is just in-between and i need some good products to take care of it that won’t clog up my pores. any suggestions are appreciated. ![]()

I’m 21 years old..soon to be 22.
I’ve used one cleaner before when I was younger to get rid of acne. But for years I have not really done anything. I have combination skin(dry cheeks oily forehead and t zone) I have visible pores on my cheeks and some pink/redness on my cheek area and my nose. I till get pimples on my temple and cheek area. usually on the side I sleep on.
I guess I just don’t know what kind of skin care products or routine I should get. I’ve been watching a lot of youtube videos of skin care routines by girls and It makes me want to start taking care of it now. Is it too late? And should I be getting wrinkle cream and everything? Because Honestly.. I’m lost and I would appreciate anyone’s help. I will try anything if you recommend it. Department store or drug store. I just need to be pointed to the right direction ![]()

i dont have much discolorations but i have some pockmarks not very deep nor noticeable. . In the right lighting the shadows make them very noticeable though. really brings down my self esteem.. my skin isnt smooth… it reminds me of a cookie under my eyes and aside my nose… more like my pores are large but its not my pores just from all the acne as a teen. is there an over the counter micro_dermabrasion system for sensitive skin? maybe even just a cream? anyting?

okay, so heres the deal.
all my life, i have never really cared at all for my skin. like at all.
seriously, like i wash it with what ever hand soap or dish soap is around, and whatever lotion i can get my hands on, and sometimes none at all. (this is every night, and sometimes in mornings)
my dad is asian and black, and has always had good skin. like all asians, and blacks..
and my mom is white and brazillian, and and has disgusting skin in my eyes, but my dad says she just doesnt take care of it, but naturally it looks young he says. so i never really cared about my own cuz i figured i had good genes. but for a long while now, ive been noticing my skins been getting pretty bad. i surf, so im in the sun a lot. maybe that has something to do with the lines on my forehead?! and now that its getting colder, i havnt been in the water much, and im getting acne fast! i mean like blackheads, zits, pimples, the whole package! over the years, its been getting worse. during the winter when im not surfing everyday. so please help me!! what can i do to get rid of the wrinkles if thats possible? and the acne? im looking for cheap (like walmart cheap) products. preferrablely organic or somewhat natural. should i use a toner too? because my pores are getting big. is aloe vera any good for healing my skin? or pure coa coa butter? please help meee!
