have had acne for years. My face is oily, and not only do I have acne on my face but on my lower back, shoulders, and butt too. What is the best acne cleanser for my face and body that isn’t too expensive?
Please don’t tell me about pills or give me links to other sites. I just want answers about acne treatments you have used.

Oh my gosh, I’ve tried Clearisil, Oxy-something, Neautrigina facial wash, all Biore skin products…..I even went to the dermatologist for some really strong Clinique. Recently I’ve been trying Aveeno facial wash for acne. Nothing seems to work! I’m 18 and that "time of the month" isn’t for another two weeks, so nothing majorly hormonal going on right now…….help! Thanks
p.s. Anyone try those "shelved" pills for acne yet?

I want to know that if I stop taking these pills, will my skin go back to its original color? And if I don’t, will my skin just keep getting whiter and whiter, or remain the same?

When i wake up in the morning my face is looks oily and then wash it with baby soap & this makes it dry & dandruff like thing apears all of my face.I don’t use any makeup or facial treatments.But know i want to try natura; skin care like herbs please help which is the best and is my skin categorized as dry,combined,normal or oily?

My mother has got skin allergy after using some skin products and pills to remove her face and forehead wrinkles, most of the products where fish products like caviar creams and a pill called Imedeen. So the allergy is most probably caused by the fish products. Her allergy is very intensive right now, more on her face, but it’s all over her body.
She can’t use anything on her skin, no creams, and she can only wash her face with baby shampoo. She can’t eat many foods because they might increase her allergy. Most of the time she feels irritation under her skin.
She has visited many doctors and used many medicines and anti-histamines, but nothing has worked at all.
Lately, something like glue comes out of her skin all the time, it makes her face look shiny and sweaty, but she says it feels like there’s glue/honey all over her face, and after she washes her face it comes back again after a few (less than 30) minutes.
She’s really upset about what is happening to her skin, it started from some fine lines and wrinkles but now she has got this allergy all over her body and she has become extremely depressed, no doctor understands what it is and they are all just trying different medicines on her and she’s tired of it.
So, my question is:
1) What is this glue-ish thing that comes out of her skin?
2) What should she do about her allergy and skin problems?

pills, creams, etc. and what are the names. i’m naturally pale, but i’ve been getting unintended tans through out my whole life. i need a skin whitening product that actually works and won’t damage my skin. please and thank you

It is not a new concept….the technology has been around for about eight years.
Approved by the Food and Drug Administration for acne treatment, the blue light emitted from the machine actually destroys the bacteria responsible for the acne.
Martin Moore APN with the Nevada Center for dermatology says he describes the treatment to his patients this way, "Narrow band of visible light, the blue light. The light is penetrating the skin into the sabaceous cysts and is essentially killing the bacteria that is one of the components of acne."
Moore says while some acne patients see improvement with the blue light alone, in cases where the acne is more severe, this chemical called, Levulan a topical liquid is used to achieve better results.–
lots of research has been done on this. The light bulb in the reptile store, is probably not as high intensity as this FDA approved

I’ve had acne since the 3rd grade. I been to dermatologist and have see pharmacist and been prescribed every tetracycline (doxy,mono), clidamycin, vanoxide, retin a, differin, and tazorac. I am currently using vanoxide in the morning and tazorc in the evening. i take 2 pills of doxyxline a day. Most of the antibotics and creams I have used have messed my face. I have large pore, scarring and very oily skin. If there’s not a good ethnic skin treatment, can anyone me refer me to any other acne treatment other than accutane. the various antibotics have made my skin peel alot especially in my hair and the cortisone in the vanoxide give me big painful cyst. i have use proactiv, zenmed, murad, acnefree, etc. I’ver heard about heritage skin care but i didn’t see any reviews about the product other than the ones on the size and i never trust those. i’m willing to try any prescrip my physican at school can prescribe and i can try any new treatment that are at now. any reccommendations please

I’m pretty pale (one or two shades lighter than ivory) and caucasian. I don’t go in the sun without jeans and a long sleeved hoodie. How can I make my skin whiter?
Because I think it’s prettier on my features.
Why do you have to be sarcastic just because I want to be paler? Being sarcastic doesn’t answer my question or help me in the slightest.

The hoodie covers my face completely and I never go out without it. My hands are the only thing that get any sunlight at all and it’s rare when they do. Occasionally I do wear sunscreen (SPF60 or 70 something I think) when I have the time. Usually when I go outside, it’s early in the morning and I’m back inside during sunrise.
No, I don’t want to be as pale as Michael Jackson. Just a few shades lighter than I am. I’d rather not do anything with pills.
I need something that would lighten my entire body. It won’t do any good to a have my face be one shade and my body be another.
I’m already a lot lighter than the people whose skin they showed on before and after.
Everything I saw said nothing about ways of skin lightening for caucasian people. Only africans and asians.
