AM I TOO YOUNG TO BUY AN EYE CREAM?

admin October 13th, 2011

I’m 13 but today (like less than 10mins ago) I saw fine WRINKLES under my eyes!!!

I am SO worried! All my friends have wrinkles under their eyes and it’s really ugly… I cleanse my face 3 times a
Day on weekdays and I use a cleanser and toner and lotion from loreal (cleanser) and the toner and lotion is from Johnson johnsons. In the day time I use my daily moisurizer that has 30spf in it from aveeno.

But is it too young to buy eye cream? To moisturize better? Cause the lotion I have is drying cause it’s for acne (prevention… I don’t have any .. Yet?) and yeah. So am I too young? I’m not talking about eye wrinkle creams but just MOISTURIZERS for under the eyes.

I’ve read all the things about preventions for wrinkles and from tonight I’ll start! But if I were to go to the mall and buy clarins or clinique or something high end brand of eye MOISTURIZING cream would I be too young? My mom thinks if I use it too early then it wont work when I REALLY need it.. So help?): Im 5′8 so I did hit puberty 0.o. Thanks! I’m 13 and a girl btw. And I have contacts and in the mornings I do struggle a bit with putting them in and I do like stretch out the skin):

I'm 24 and have wrikles at the corners of my lips. Help please?

admin August 23rd, 2011

OK, I knew they were there but I recently bought a new liquid powder whcih only highlighted how bad things are. I do now smoke or drink, use plenty of water but hate all the moisturizers and creams and all the other stuff you put on your face (except for powders lol). That’s the way i am, i hate all the fats you rub into your skin and avoid all that stuff except for gels and like, but haven’t found one that would provide moisture and nutrition for my skin as they usually are water based. So, is it because i do not care enough for my skin or what? Ain’t I a bit too young for wrinkles? And, they are really visible and they are not fine lines, just horizontal wrinkles that "extend" my lips and then go a bit downwards, tehy are like one or one and a half cm long so I’m really worried. Thanks in advance :)

Skin care products? Suggestions needed.?

admin July 18th, 2011

I’m looking for some skin care products that work really well and aren’t too expensive. The more natural the better. First of all, I have slightly oily skin, but sometimes it’s also dry (weird, huh?). I don’t have huge breakouts, but once in a while I’ll have some acne. Also I’m trying to get rid of some wrinkles- expression lines around my mouth, and also whiten my skin- I have darker skin in some areas, like around my mouth. I also have some acne scars- they’re light, but I’d like them to disappear completely, you know? Oh, and suggestions for lotions, moisturizers, etc, will also be appreciated. So, to sum it all up, I’d like product(s) that will get rid of acne, scars and blemishes, dark skin and tans, wrinkles, and make skin healthier and smoother. Also, it’s best if the price is under each. Thanks! Looking forward to the answers ;)

Anti wrinkle lotion? What's the face cleaning process? Do fruits help face skin to be nicer?

admin July 2nd, 2011

I m 22 yrs old and started to notice fine lines on my forehead and on the outside of my lips. My skin is no longer healthy looking and supple as it used to be. I never really took care of my face or used any cleansers and/or moisturizers for that matter. I don’t use make up often either. I am starting to get concerned and would like some advise as to what is the best way to cleanse my face and take great care of it. I have heard stuff such a scrubs, foams, toners, moisturizers and on… what do I really need and in which order? What brand would you recommend? (remember my age) I do not have acne problems other than I am starting to experience lots of black heads on my nose, oily nose and sometimes forehead. Some one metioned Olay rejuvenating and/or antiwrinkle. I was also told to try Aveeno, Laneige, Estee Lauder, CLINIQUE. It’s confusing. Any idea which is best and really works in helping to prevent wrinkles and aids in getting a more healthy supple looking skin?
I have also heard that eating fruits contributes to a healthier more supple looking skin, is that true? If so, which fruits in particular? How many a day?

I need some serious skin help.?

admin May 15th, 2011

First i am 15, ok, so i used to the perfect skin, rarely ever got pimples or anything. Then one day about 6 months ago, bam! Bunches of pimples across my face and it just got worse and worse after that. It got worse and worse. I tried proactive, it kinda worked, so i decided it was the hormonal pimples ause no products worked. I waited it out and everything, no, no more pimples. Skin is back to normal. right?

Wrong! Just on my forehead, above my eyes, is the skin the loose, saggy, and almost wrinkly.

1. How do i get my skin tight again? ((Moisturizers/Wrinkle stopping creams do not work so don’t say that))

My pores are huge on my forehead now,

2. Any way to reduce pores?? ((Toners don’t work either))

I have hyper pigmented skin and a few rolling/ice pick scars

3. Any way to fill these in and heal faster??

I need some serious help because nothing is working for me. Home remedies would be nice, I do have drs. appointment in a couple weeks too.
the ice pick scars are really small by the way. I just don’t want them to get worse

night creams. to young? 15?

admin April 1st, 2011

hi im 15 and i was wondering about night creams…
its for lifts.
and i was wondering if this is to young of an age…
my face has been dry because of acne treatments… I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THE TREATMENTS even if they dry me out. i uses moisturizers…
iv been told that dryness is the number one cause of wrinkles and iv noticed that my face has gotten lines on my face… the start from wrinkles.
SO IF I USED THE NIGHT CREAM NOW AT 15… COULD THAT HARM ME IN THE LONG RUN.
like will it cause bad skin later or something.
and yea i know that i should move from the acne treatment but im not changing it iv spent so much on different protects and this is the main one that really works for me.
oh and im not going to keep using the night cream for ever… just up untill the acne is gone and i can stop using it.

Help with my skin care routine?

admin March 25th, 2011

I’m 16 years old. I have dry-combo skin. My cheeks and mouth are flakey, while my forehead and chin is oilier. My cheeks and nose are also constantly red. I have sensitive skin. I’ve been really wanting to take better care of my skin. I’ve been doing some research and I’ve come up with this routine for my face. Oh. I get a little bit of acne, but its not bad.

Night
1. Cetaphil Cleanser
2. Neutrogena alcohol free toner
3. Loreal Skin Genesis Deep action night complex
4. Loreal Skin Genesis Eye serum
5. Loreal skin Genesis Complexion Equalizer

DAY
1. Cetaphil Cleanser
2. Neutrogena alcohol free toner
3. Loreal eye serum
4. Loreal ideal skin genesis daily treatment serum
5. Neutrogena combination skin moisturizer.

If you’re wondering, I’m using two different moisturizers because I believe the Neutrogena is lighter than the Loreal.

I haven’t begun this routine yet. I was wondering if its good before I go waste tons of money.

Please don’t say "WAAAAY too much stuff." If you’ll look, you’ll notice that most are serums/moisturizers-not anything that would strip my skin.

I know that at 16 I don’t have wrinkles, but I want to protect my skin and really make it look great.

Any comments? And please tell me if there is a product that might be better. My main concern is redness. Yikes.

What is the best self-absorbed facial moisturizer?

admin January 23rd, 2011

I have narrowed down the best name-brand moisturizers.

Vaseline
Eucerin
Cetaphil
Baby Oil
Cold Creams(Ponds, Oil of Olay)

Emollients like Vaseline and baby oil are excellent skin "barriers" to lock in moisture—-but they do not really moisturize. Cetaphil is a good cleaner and emollient. Eucerin does a good job too. But these products dont absorb very well into the skin.

But I find that cold creams such as Ponds Cold Cream and Oil of Olay works the best because it absorbs into the skin. Why do cold creams like Ponds and Oil of Olay work better than vaseline and baby oil? Ponds and Oil of Olay still have still have a petrolatum base.

When I apply vaseline or baby oil…i can still see my wrinkles except my face is shiny. But when I apply Ponds Cold Cream or Oil of Olay…..my wrinkles vanish! How come? Whats in cold creams that make them work better than just "base" products?
Also, whats your best moisturizer for beautiful skin?

Curious. Serious answers only.

face moisturizer?

admin January 12th, 2011

I have combination skin. I don’t use a moisturizer because although my face starts off dry in the morning, by the end of the day it’s somewhat oily and shiny.

I’m starting to notice, however, some fine lines around my eyes and smile lines. I’m only 23 so the wrinkles aren’t super noticable….but I heard that dry skin can cause premature aging. I want to get a good moisturizer, but it seems like when I use one, I either break out or my face is TOO oily/shiny.

I want something to make my skin soft, smooth, and healthy…but without the extra moisture. I don’t really need it.

What moisturizers/anti-aging creams do you reccommend for skin that has a tendency to get oily as the day goes on?

What is the best facial moisturizer for extremely dry skin?

admin January 10th, 2011

I’m in the market for a new skin care system, as I’m 22 and never really taken proper care of my skin before. I have tried a variety of different moisturizers, however- Aveeno, Neutrogena, etc.- with no real luck. Even after exfoliating and applying them, my skin is still dry and flaky. This worsens during the wintertime, so I’m trying to go ahead & start my new skin care routine to head it off. But there are so many brands/options, it boggles my mind! Any suggestions?

(I’m also looking for a good under eye product to counteract wrinkles/puffiness, if anyone has suggestions in that area as well.)

What can I do about my pale white face?

admin December 13th, 2010

I try really hard to take care of my skin. I use sunscreen every day, to keep the wrinkles and skin cancer away–I use high quality moisturizers and make up to make sure to minimize the breakouts which have plagued me for my entire life. The condition of my skin is as good as I’m going to get it at the point in my mid 30’s. My problem is that I happened to catch a glance of myself in a mirror at Disneyland this weekend, and I felt like I looked like a big white blob with no color. I thought of self tanners, but don’t want to increase the breakout factor–and I don’t want to use a darker foundation and get that line around my face. Does any one have any experience with facial tanners or the spray tan salons? Am I destined to have to choose between clear ghostly skin, and broken out orange skin? Most of the people I’ve seen come out of those spray tan salons look totally orange. I’m so pale, I don’t know if it would help or hurt my situation. Thanks for any info.

I have reallly oily skin!?

admin December 13th, 2010

I use Differin cream, and Cetaphil to keep my light acne under control if that’s any use.
But yeah, my skin is super oily. I use like 2 blotting sheets a day, eck. Also, I get really red, really easy. Ugh. And its not like I’m a ginger or anything, I’m actually very naturally dark. But I sort of lost the tan in my face from when I tried ProActiv, it sort of bleached out my skin. Ew. Haha

I know oily skin is better than dry skin ‘cus you wont get wrinkles quick and blah blah, but I hate being so shiny!
I actually use moisturizer, the Cetaphil brand. Its not like I dont use it and then my skin boosts into overdrive for oil production.

Any help? (:
Are there any other facewashes I could maybe try, or moisturizers? Health and nutrition?
Oh, and I dont really wear that much foundation, just some bronzer, and mostly eye makeup. And cover-up where neccesary.

And I’m not old, freshman in highschool, so maybe its hormones? Idk. New boyfriend, yeah? Hahhah

Yahhhhhhhh, thanks. :D

skin care for mid 20's guy?

admin October 28th, 2010

Ok I’m in my mid 20’s and I still have acne problems. I need help…short of going to a skin doctor or what not I need suggestions on types of products I could try before I go spend thousands with some "specialist".

I don’t have crazy acne…but looking at my skin right now I have about 3 pimple on my forehead and a few elsewhere on my face. I also have blemishes were one part of my face has darker red spots on it. I would love for my skin to be all one color :-) . What’s the best way to start helping my skin.

I eat okay as it is…fruits and vegies…gotta start cutting back on some foods though. Any suggestions on moisturizers? I’ve tried proactive for pimples when I was about 18 and all it did was make me worse.

Thanks for the help. I also have wrinkles too…which kind of sucks because I’m not that old!!!!

Aging skin: what is a good skin regime?

admin October 14th, 2010

I am so confused! I am 48 and just now starting to care for my face.
I have always had good skin(olive, mediterrian) so I never thought too much about moisturizers and skin care. Now, I am starting to have wrinkles and uneven spots.
What should I use? there are so many products both expensive and reasonable.
Older women and professionals please respond with good products that work Thanks!!

I need help naming my new skin care line!!!?

admin September 10th, 2010

I am starting my own line of skin care products that are just as good as the expensive brands, only cheaper… such as : anti-wrinkle/anti aging creams, vitamin c-serums (that actually work and are cheap!) moisturizers, face and body washes and scrubs, and eventually hair care.

I have invest soooo much time and money for the equipment and and supplies and months and months for the product testing… I really want to make this work!
I need help coming up with a catchy name that describes what it’s all about. I am at a total loss here.. You only get one chance to come up with something cool.
Here’s some info:

*** I use the exact same quality and amount of active ingredients as the expensive manufactures. Some of my products even have more (the ones that allowed me to turn it up a notch without causing skin irritation)

***I try to make them as organic as possible (some things like the vitamin c-serums need certain additives to keep them from going bad, most home made vitamin c serums you buy from ebay and etsy don’t have these additives and go bad after only 24 hours. This is one of my key advantages over the others

*** My products will be affordable for ANY budget. I’m not so much out to make a huge profit. I’m more concerned about making sure MY costs are covered (you are mainly paying what I pay for the products) This is something I enjoy doing and want people to be able to afford these products and be 100% happy with the results.

*** I’d like to have "diva or divas" as part of the name… but don’t know how to describe (in one word) all the other information. Like… what word describes "affordable" "organic" or "natural" and "just as good as the most expensive products on the market"

I wish I could offer free samples to those who reply. I don’t know if my question would get deleted if I include my contact information?

Thanks!
excellent suggestions! i’m amazed <3
thank you all so much!

Recomendations for face creams that slow down aging process?

admin August 29th, 2010

What i mean is help prevent wrinkles and give the skin a really nice glow. (if you know of any that are also moisturizers that would be nice, but its ok if you dont)

Home-made skin care?

admin August 26th, 2010

I want to start making my own from cleansers to moisturizers. My nose is really dry but the rest of the face is normal and mainly I want recipes for aging skin that is getting wrinkles. Hate wrinkles and I feel insecure. Need something that will feel good and revitalizing. Thank you in advance and I will try anything.

Do you have a hard time deciding on which cosmetics to use?

admin August 21st, 2010

Tanners or moisturizers, wrinkle creams or repair creams, sunscreens or eye creams, daytime creams or night creams, foot and hand creams, celluit creams…

Seems like the cosmetic world wants us to spend all our time on creaming ourselves for nothing. Sometimes, I find myself drawn into the cosmetic world by attractive commercials like "Use this cream for your elbows" "Use this one for your eyes" "Use this on your celluits" "This cream is perfect for aging" "This body cream will make your skin super smooth" But then I realize I can’t do that for life! Man, it’s a lot of time and money. So, now I only use a moisturizer with spf on my face and tanner on my legs and arms in summers.

I wonder what other women use and how they feel about cosmetics.

A reputable site containing skin-care product recommendations, preferably peer-reviewed. Does such exist?

admin August 18th, 2010

Specifically I’d like a source for recommendations on moisturizers for the face, under eye, and rest of body that show the most improvement in the reduction of wrinkles and other signs of ageing.

I’m finding it difficult to find a source of information that is not in some way biased.
