I use hydro-cortisone to help control my psoriasis on my face. Being out in the sun helps to keep my face clearer, but neither of them completely clear it up. I used diprolene which worked great, but it stopped my periods for 6 months, gave me multiple bloody noses a day, and caused hair loss. I don’t want to take any drugs that increase my risk of skin cancer. I’ll take my chances with the sun.

I have noticed that I’m getting fine lines on my face. I’m getting older, I get that. I haven’t used sunscreen in over a dozen years. What I find interesting is that I only have lines on my forehead where I’ve used the hydro-cortisone cream. It is on the inside part of the car, so it’s not like it’s getting more sun exposure then the other side. I also use salicylic acid face wash too. Of course I use it on my entire face.

I also have severe psoriasis on my scalp. Of course the sun can’t get there. If I perm or color it, the chemicals actually burn it severely. It all scabs up, sometimes bleeds for a day, then it is clear for about a couple weeks. Do you think a chemical peel would help the facial psoriasis?? Have you heard of anything that I could try???

I’m really sick of dealing with it. I’m very self conscious about it on my face. At least it isn’t visible in my hair.

I have a palish light brownish complexion and i have started using lemon juice on my skin for about three days..
i also use ponds whitening face wash and the ponds cream..
i really want to make my skin fair.. and i want it to be done quickly..
please help me out.. tel me some easy and quick was to lighten my skin colour! thanks

i cannot afford botox or dermabrasion right now , i live on disability.

im 32 , and because of life stress, i feel ive prematurely aged slightly . and also i think lack of sleep has contributed to.

i have dark lines from the corners of both eyes stretching to my cheekbones, open pores , frown lines in forehead , skin blemishes , and wrinkles where there weren’t before.

im in the uk.

can anybody recommend a skin care brand , face wash, moisturiser , face scrub , a sun block brand – or whatever that i could go out easily and buy, get easy access to ?

can you name exactly what to buy , ie – face wash, face scrub , moisturiser , what brand to get ?

- and when and in what order to use em ?

could you name and be detailed about what to buy ? i need DETAILED advice please .

nothing complicated that you have to order online or any trial product crap – just strait forward, DETAILED advice .

and finally does dermabrasion work ? is it costly ? and should i save up to have it done or just concentrate on skin care of the face ?

Is there anything on the market that works against wrinkles regardless of age. I am making an inference that if I start now, than maybe down the road the face wont be as saggy !

Let me know. I am looking for things OTHER THAN face wash.

I have clean skin. no pimples or blackheads. easily tan in the sun. not oily, more dry than anything.

Hey there! I am 32 years old and I have very very dull, pale, tired looking skin that is also very dry. I have no acne problems or wrinkles but since my skin is so dry I want to prevent them. I do not go tanning and do not spend much time in the sun. Any heavily fragranced face washes give me a severe headache and cause my face to burn and itch. I am looking for a good face wash that will give me a healthy glow (not a red glow) and make my face toned and super smooth and alive! Also, is there a way to look a little less pale (I am ghostly white and look so tired) and what causes a very swollen puffy face, hands, and eyelids every morning? I have tried clean and clear advantage, zapzyt, Acne free severe acne face wash, and tea tree oil. I heard proactive stops working a while so I dont want to try that. My skin is coverd in acne and I want to get rid of it. I also have white heads and blackheads. What is a good product to get rid of all that stuff?

I am 16 years old and I am wondering what my skincare routine should consist of. I know for a fact I don’t been to start with the anti- wrinkle stuff, but I am wondering, like eye cream? Is that needed when I am 16? I am a super big skincare freak. I follow my daily face wash/ toner/ moisturizer routine almost religiously. But I am wondering what kinds of products I should be using. If I should add something to my routine? Something I want to do is even out my skin tone. And washing my face daily and using toner has kind of helped that. I watch videos and look up all these different skincare routines, but I don’t want to be spending on a 0.6 oz. jar of eye cream if I don’t need it.

What products should a 16 year old be using? Ones that are not expensive.

I’m 13 and I use anti wrinkle cream. You see, I have smile lines and ever since I started using it I haven’t had any. My friends make fun of me sometimes (teasing basically) and my mom says it’s unneccesary.

I’ve started using face masks, face creams, face wash, anything that can help my face. So far, I’ve got over 10 face creams, 6 eye creams, and 9 nighttime creams. The daytime ones all have SPF 15. So far, my skin has looked better than ever and I’ve gotten prettier and more popular. Everyone says they love my skin and how it glows.

My mom says I need to cool it down with all the skincare products but I don’t want to end up like my cousin (she has acne on her face like everwhere).

Should I cool it down or is what i’m doing fine?

I’m not quite sure what kind of skin care routine I should start with. I usually get blackheads on my nose, but lately I’ve been getting deep pimples under my eyes, along my hairline, and my forehead. They’re pretty painful, and I tend to be a picker, so I figured I would nip it in the bud and just start taking better care of my skin. I have somewhat oily skin and I tend to wear makeup, and on top of that I sleep next to my boyfriend who has EXTREMELY oily skin and hair. I’m wondering what some suggestions would be for:
-face wash
-moisturizer
-eye cream
-make up remover
-serum
-anti-wrinkle cream
-emollient cream
-base

I’m not very girly, and don’t know much about brands or what’s best for oily skin. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

I am looking for a good acne face wash that i can get at wal-mart or target that will work with my sensative skin and wont dry my skin out.Right now i am using Clean and Clear blackhead clearing scrub/acne treatment and it is drying out my skin which i heard causes more oils to form acne.Help!

It doesnt have any instructions or steps on how to use it and im confused. do i use the face wash and acne treatment lotion in the morning and then the overnight acne cream at night or both acne treatment lotion and overnight cream at the same time at night. and when the hell do i use the acne mark fade cream

I’m 17 and obviously don’t need to worry about wrinkles, but I LOVE the way her creams and face wash make my face feel all tingly, and my skin looks so amazing after I use them! It’s all glowy in a healthy-looking way. I don’t have any acne (never had a pimple) or super sensitive skin, but I’m worried that it could somehow be damaging? Does anybody know?
Frick! I was wanting to post this in the Skin & Body section but this was the category suggested and I wasn’t paying enough attention. Anyway. I’m gonna post it there too but if you know about this will you answer anyway? T.y.

What is the best skin care procedure for a 31 year old who has prematurely aged?

and what are the best skin care products to buy from the high street or supermarket ?

depressingly my face had aged, looks wrinkly, open pores, dark lines under my eyes, wrinkled forehead, bad skin pigmentation on forhead, because i used to dye my hair when i had hair…now im bald……the dye bleached parts of my skin on my forehead near temples both sides.

so what do i get ? face wash , face scrub ? toner and moisterizer ?

and when and in what order do i use them ?

what brands should i go for in the high street ?

2 : where do i go to to get a ‘ facial ? – im in the uk btw.

3: i have ” piz buin ” tan intensifier , uva – uvb in sun spray spf 15 medium .

is that good to use as a moisterizer so i dont have to use nothing else ?

also it doesnt specify on the package , would anyone know if its a body lotion or can i use it on my face to ?

it says on package it contains vitamin A, C and E.

4 : I also have l’ oreal men expert skin revovator, skin renewer ( effective cleansing exfoliator )

is that good to use ?

it says ( removes dead skin cells and imupurities , resurfaces and refines skin texture )

5 : and finally i have loreal men expert , anti tightness foaming cleansing gel .

it says ( cleanses without tightness , wakes up the skin without drying it out, soap free ph neutral )

does anyone know anything about these products mentioned ? and would they be good to use for now until i can get the right skin care products ?

im trying to care of my skin but i think i’ve made it worse.. i’ve been exfoliating,, doing egg white masks and after a month a gained a wrinkle on my mouth and noticed wrinkles under my eye.. i dont know what to do anymore im afraid my skin might get worse is there a way to remove the wrinkles.. i switched to milder face wash(cethaphil) what moisturizer should i used.. what daily routine.. im so freakin messed up

I have small crows feet near the corner of my eyes, and i’ve got a lot of laughing lines. I have kind of oily skin – probably cos’ of my age, and i dont do sunbeds, dont sun bathe without sun cream, and take care of my face. Wash morning and night, cleansing & toning, and moisturising morning and night.

Why is this happening? And is there anything i can do to help

I have so many pimples & pimple marks on my face cheeks and it makes my skin very dull. Blackheads & whiteheads also killing me. My face looks now ugly. My friend suggest me to use himalaya neem foam face-wash and am using it for the past 1 week & found no result. Instead i found after wash my face skin tends so dry and its now making wrinkles. I even know thats because of the climate. Please help me. which is the best face wash, moisturizer for my skin? Can I use olay products? how are they works? for my skin dullness can i use fairness cream? which one is the best?

I am 33 years old and my skin is still that of a teenager. I use 2 or 3 prescription skin treatments per day; azelaic acid, Retin A and topical zinc and antibiotic lotion. I wash my face with a glycolic acid or salicylic acid face wash twice a day with a clarisonic and once a day I use a clearasil deep cleansing pad. I also steam and use a mask on my face at least once a week but often twice.

This all sounds like a lot and that my skin would be raw but it’s not this is the bear minimum I need to do to keep my skin soft and smooth. If I don’t do this it quickly becomes bumpy, congested, massive pores, oily, spotty etc. The only upside is that if I do use all of the above on a daily basis my skin is perfect like a babies bum, no lines or wrinkles etc at all and people always think I am 10 – 15 years younger than my age. My dad was the same.
I often regret not being able to use all the lovely skin care ranges my friends use from department stores and that I am stuck with a teenage bathroom shelf but perhaps it is worth it as my skin when clear does look really great .

Anyone else have this issue? Does it annoy you or are you grateful for the upside?
I’m not bragging if I don’t thin the upper layer of my skin with a ton of acids and medication I look like a warty toad, it’s awful but when I do my skin is like satin. I can’t believe the abuse my skin can take at this age!

a lot of acne damage and even some fine lines/wrinkles around my eyes (like crows feet) Im about to turn 20. I know I don’t need to go crazy but Im looking for something to help my skin heal and prevent aging. I dont trust the creams at the pharmacy (especially after i found out ponds cold cream has mineral oil in it). right now I use nuetrogina skin regeneration puffs and massager, with a nuetrogina positively radiant face wash that I put some grape seed (NOT grapefruit seed) extract in for an extra antioxidant boost. my question is will this be good to use like 1-3 times a week to help my scars and damage heal as well as prevent aging? ( I use a sunscreen and keep moisturized)

right now i use. Clearasil Ultra Face Wash…then i put rubbing alcohol on the acne (dries it out) then i put on Clearasil. it works good but there’s still acne. any ideas?
