I am a 41 year old woman. I have always been told that I look young for my age,however, I do have fine lines around my eyes, forehead and mouth. I would like to try to get into a daily skin care routine to help stop or minimize wrinkles, tighten skin and reduce that puffiness and/or darkness under my eyes. Currently I just wash my face with soap and water and use a moisturizer on it in the morning. I don’t have a problem with acne or anything. I have been searching the web for the best anti wrinkle creams and so much comes up that it is hard to decide. I don’t want to have to spend a whole lot on this. I have been looking at Olay but not sure if that works, RoC, and others. I just need some help from people with actual experience in anti aging/wrinkle creams to help me narrow down my choices. I have combination skin and am not allergic to anything. Any advice on this would be helpful as there is so much to choose from and they all say the same thing.

I wash my face twice a day with Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash, but it doesn’t really work. I always see adds on TV for different acne treatments, but how do I know if they’re for real? I need a tretment for combination skin (skin that is oily in some places and dry in other patche) that prevents and treats breakouts.
Help?

hi guys.im male 20 yo. i have problem choosing skin product. i have these problems..
(im not good with this , its confusing to sort out so plz dun get mad)
1) combination skin
2) wrinkled skin
3) my face skin looks as if it has gone deep inside(especially my cheeks)
4) uneven skin texture
5) uneven skin color
6) saggy skin
7) fairer neck and body skin but 10 X darker face skin.
i’ve tried many product from bioglo, avon and many more since i was 15 yo, but nothing happened as if my skin won’t absorb the nutrients..and my face is better when i wash it,but after few minutes all the abnormality that i have listed above happens.
so which product should i use, i have sensitive skin, i’ve tried many cleanser, toner, and hydrating mask and cream.(but they are all waste, almost 100 different types of product since i was 15)
im now planning to buy products from GARNIER.
if u are suggesting any garnier products, which garnier to choose is it from AQUA DEFENSE, POWER LIGHT,etc.
should i buy for THE MENS or just RANDOMLY..
please be kind and dont use harsh words. im just lost in this skin care matter.
anyone out there plzz be kind and help me to sort my problem. skin problem seems far away from me when im young but now when im in my 20s they are here to say,especially when im meeting new people in my working place.

I just had a case of acne on one side of my face and forehead and so i went to the doctors and im just using cream at night for the acne and tablets so once it clears up i want to start a whole new skin care regime.
I’ve used roc, nivea, and lancome moisturizer. I’ve never really had a skin care regime i just washed my face morning and night with what ever cleanser and moisturizer but I’m looking for a good cleanser, night cream, moisturizer, etc. I have kinda combination skin leaning more oily than dry. I’m prone to one or two spots and i’m 19 so i kinda want products that take of the skin protect againts sun damage (i live in oz), future wrinkles, brightens my complexion. I also have un even skin tone i think? When i use Chanel tinted moisturizer it looks bad like it lies on my chins and around my mouth and doesnt spread evenly my face just looks awful?
Anywho anyone know any good products I could use and what kinda regime I should start (also i don’t mind price)

Ok, I’m really bad and I have never used facial moisturizer before. I have severe combination skin! The last year or so I have been getting zits all over my chin and nothing I use seems to get rid of them. On the other hand, my cheeks are so dry. I am going to be turning 30 this month and I realize it’s time to do something before I start getting wrinkles. On the good side, I must still look younger because I still get carded and asked if I’m a student when I attend my cousin’s high school events.
I want to start doing better but I have no idea what kind of moisturizer to use since I am prone to severe acne on my chin only. I never had this problem when I was a teenager but now I’m making up for it.
Thanks for all serious answers. And I know I should have been taking better care of my skin so don’t yell at me, lol. I’m going to do it now and I can’t make up for the past.

Well i have Combination skin, but not like "oily tzone, dry everywhere else"
its like, my upper cheeks are usually dry, but recently they have been really oily. my nose too. sometimes theyre oily in the morning, then dry out later in the day
my forehead is somewhat oily, with dry patches sometimes on my eyebrows and in the middle of them.
my cheeks usually LOOK dry and flaky, but if you touch them, they arent. im only 14 and im starting to get wrinkles under my eyes.
i have acne mostly on my forehead, and blackheads on my nose.
I wear make up usually, and i think ive been scrubbing too hard under my eyes to get it off so now that area is kind of sensitive ):
ive been trying to wear sunscreen everyday, and i eat pretty healthy.
i dont think its stress because this has been going on for a while.
im also looking for a good cleanser and moisterizer.
sorry for it being so long, i wanted to be really specific.
i really want to start taking better care if my skin cuz my aunt told me everything i do to it now will show up when i get older!!!! D:

I’m a teenage girl, and I have some acne. Like, I have little zits that pop up anywhere on my face but then I have those huge ones that last for weeks. I also have combination skin and it gets so oily its not even funny. I hate my skin. What are the best treatments for this type of acne? I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to get birth control pills, just sayin’.

I’m 16 years old. I have dry-combo skin. My cheeks and mouth are flakey, while my forehead and chin is oilier. My cheeks and nose are also constantly red. I have sensitive skin. I’ve been really wanting to take better care of my skin. I’ve been doing some research and I’ve come up with this routine for my face. Oh. I get a little bit of acne, but its not bad.
Night
1. Cetaphil Cleanser
2. Neutrogena alcohol free toner
3. Loreal Skin Genesis Deep action night complex
4. Loreal Skin Genesis Eye serum
5. Loreal skin Genesis Complexion Equalizer
DAY
1. Cetaphil Cleanser
2. Neutrogena alcohol free toner
3. Loreal eye serum
4. Loreal ideal skin genesis daily treatment serum
5. Neutrogena combination skin moisturizer.
If you’re wondering, I’m using two different moisturizers because I believe the Neutrogena is lighter than the Loreal.
I haven’t begun this routine yet. I was wondering if its good before I go waste tons of money.
Please don’t say "WAAAAY too much stuff." If you’ll look, you’ll notice that most are serums/moisturizers-not anything that would strip my skin.
I know that at 16 I don’t have wrinkles, but I want to protect my skin and really make it look great.
Any comments? And please tell me if there is a product that might be better. My main concern is redness. Yikes.

I have combination skin (normal/dry skin on cheeks and side of face and oily skin on my forehead, nose and chin). my acnes not that bad, its like moderate. I mostly get lots of skin colored small pimples and sometimes big red ones. the little skin colored ones are really annoying and ive used proactiv, acnefree, clean&clear advantage and clinique. proactiv worked for a while then stopped working, acnefree kept my skin the same, clinique dried my skin out, so clear and clear is the best acne treatment ive used but wondering if theres something better.
ive heard of something called exposed, is that any good? or zenmed or any of those brands?
also are there any good prescription creams available at the dermatologist?

I’m looking for daytime AND night time skincare products that help control/fights oil, moisturize, fights acne, tones skin. I’m not so much worried about wrinkles, not yet anyway. I have combination skin, but it’s more on the oily side.
Any recommendations?

I need a skin care routine that deals with combination skin over 30, more prominent wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, and quite a few blackheads on the nose. A step-by-step routine with product suggestions would be appreciated!

i’ve been using proactive and its to harsh on my skin & drys it out which slows the clearing of your pimples.
i have combination skin. and its very sensitive.
please don’t say drink more water cuz i know that will help, and i’ve been trying to drink more.
i don’t care what the price is but nothing over like please.

I want to get rid of my acne before school starts. I have combination skin and I break out a lot during my period, even though I still get acne all the time. I want an acne cleanser or treatment that I can get somewhere like Walmart or Target, but I will be willing to splurge for something like Clinique if I know it is going to work. I have combination skin. I don’t use a moisturizer because although my face starts off dry in the morning, by the end of the day it’s somewhat oily and shiny.
I’m starting to notice, however, some fine lines around my eyes and smile lines. I’m only 23 so the wrinkles aren’t super noticable….but I heard that dry skin can cause premature aging. I want to get a good moisturizer, but it seems like when I use one, I either break out or my face is TOO oily/shiny.
I want something to make my skin soft, smooth, and healthy…but without the extra moisture. I don’t really need it.
What moisturizers/anti-aging creams do you reccommend for skin that has a tendency to get oily as the day goes on?

I have combination skin which means its oily in some places like around the nose and then its dry on my cheeks so i have oily and dry skin. I want to try a new acne treatment under 25$. I currently use clean and clear continuous cleanser and that works pretty well. Sacrylic acid doesnt really work for me so i would prefer something with benzoyl peroxide(:

skincare products should I use that is cheaper than MAC, skincare that I would use everyday like facial wash, sunblock, moisturizer, toner, mask, exfoliator and at night some type of cream to avoid wrinkles, and I am not sure if I need any of these stuff, please help I was just using the shower water to clean my face(no soap) at all, nothing, I’m clueless, but would like to be more girly now

I’m 21 years old..soon to be 22.
I’ve used one cleaner before when I was younger to get rid of acne. But for years I have not really done anything. I have combination skin(dry cheeks oily forehead and t zone) I have visible pores on my cheeks and some pink/redness on my cheek area and my nose. I till get pimples on my temple and cheek area. usually on the side I sleep on.
I guess I just don’t know what kind of skin care products or routine I should get. I’ve been watching a lot of youtube videos of skin care routines by girls and It makes me want to start taking care of it now. Is it too late? And should I be getting wrinkle cream and everything? Because Honestly.. I’m lost and I would appreciate anyone’s help. I will try anything if you recommend it. Department store or drug store. I just need to be pointed to the right direction

hi, i was thinking of something that like tightesns the skin around the eye… reason being is the past 2 moths my eyes have been so itchy form hay fever, and scratching them i feel like ill get premature wrinkles, im probably being silly, but still i was wondering what is a decent eye maybe anti aging or firming cream for young adults. also my face is allregic to almost all creams except the ones made by "Simple" however my eye are has not been alergic to any creams. i have combination skin, but my eye area eemas "Normal".. if that akes sense. sorry so long story. thanks for ur help!
ps. i also wake up with puffy eyes quite often, more like puffy bags under my eyes. maybe drink more water?
