Would you agree that I'm attractive now?

admin June 30th, 2010

Alright, gurls, so I just got my hair, makeup, weave/wig, feet, eyebrows, tummy tuck, and nails done. I also got botox injections, plastic surgery, and a change of clothing.

Am I finally pretty? (And do I finally look like Beyoncé?)

Also, what other advice would you give a black gurl on staying healthy, and pretty?

Thanks!
What exactly are you guys talking about? Can’t a sistah get herself done without it being a conspiracy?

Jeez.
I forgot to include a pic. Silly me!

How to maintain a young looking face? Creams and etc…?

admin May 12th, 2010

I’m 24 and instead of getting botox at 27, I want to know if there are some maintenance creams or something to keep a young, wrinkle free face and skin. I’m not saying I look like a prune already but I’m starting show some future wrinkiles =(
Anyone have any advice?
I’ve been using a dove moisturizer with spf for years but moved and can’t find it anywhere here in the stores, so i’ve switched to garnier day and night moisturizers.
Thanks in advance =D

I need help solving a mystery illness/diagnosis for my father since the Dr's can't seem to get it.?

admin April 6th, 2010

I know I can’t expect an online diagnosis, but I’m hoping to at least getting some help on where to look next.
History:
He’s an otherwise healthy 58yo white male with no history of allergies or psychiatric illnesses. He’s about 6′, 185lbs, and prior to this mystery was in good health. There’s a history of severe migraines, slightly low blood pressure, and in the last year or so, a constricted prostate causing urinary issues.
Symptoms:
Starting in mid-2005, he started having more severe headaches/migraines that were attributed to stress. These felt different though and did not respond to medications. Over time, the headaches became frequent to the point of being daily and causing hospitilization. CTs, xrays, bloodwork, ekgs, etc, etc show no cancers, infections, swelling, or other physical evidence to explain the situation.
Notes:
Massive antibiotics seem to relive the pain and botox injections in the neck provide 2-6wks of semi-relief.
Any help would be appreciated!

Anyone have any advice to help stop hands from sweating? (even temporarily!)?

admin April 5th, 2010

I’ve gone to so many doctors. And their suggestions have mainly been Drysol or surgery. I’ve tried Drysol and it doesn’t work that well, I still sweat after applying it.
I even went to a specialist today (dermatologist). But he was not very helpful and keep insisting i get a botox injection on my hand to stop the sweating.
I am only 20 so I don’t think getting botox is a good/healthy idea at the moment.
I would really appreciate any tips you may have on making hands stop sweating.
I work in business environment which sometimes requires shaking clients’ hands and I really want to make a good first impression (have tried wiping hands on napkin or pants before shaking hand but it doesnt work that well either ><)
Any tips on temporarily making hands dry for 15 minutes even would be great!!
Thanks so much!

a Question for White Women?

admin April 4th, 2010

Why do so many of you want to be like Black women?

For example; tanning to get darker complexions, Botox injections to try to have beautiful healthy looking skin & you are always trying to go out with Black guys?!

Why cant you just be happy being White…just accept it because you’ll NEVER be Black:-)
