I am 13 and have wrinkles(And under are darkness)! Please help!?

admin August 20th, 2011

Ok, well I started wearing makeup at a young age because I was fascinated with it and thought of it as a way to turn your face into a work of art that you can go so many different ways with, but I didn’t know it could cause wrinkles, no one told me. Well I’m 13 now and have wrinkles under my eye, and I really need them to go away. I have gone down with the bare minerals (thats the only cover up I use) so im not using as much, and i wear sunblock, but does anyone know of a way to get my wrinkles to go away? I’m really insecure about it and it makes me feel ugly and such. My mom says shes going to take me to a skin docter( I forgot what they are called) and find out how to get my wrinkles, and under eye darkness to go away. Is there a any creams that will work or even Botox? Please help me with this. Also, anyone know how to get rid of darkness and blackness under the eyes?

What can you do for premature ageing?

admin June 27th, 2011

i cannot afford botox or dermabrasion right now , i live on disability.

im 32 , and because of life stress, i feel ive prematurely aged slightly . and also i think lack of sleep has contributed to.

i have dark lines from the corners of both eyes stretching to my cheekbones, open pores , frown lines in forehead , skin blemishes , and wrinkles where there weren’t before.

im in the uk.

can anybody recommend a skin care brand , face wash, moisturiser , face scrub , a sun block brand – or whatever that i could go out easily and buy, get easy access to ?

can you name exactly what to buy , ie – face wash, face scrub , moisturiser , what brand to get ?

- and when and in what order to use em ?

could you name and be detailed about what to buy ? i need DETAILED advice please .

nothing complicated that you have to order online or any trial product crap – just strait forward, DETAILED advice .

and finally does dermabrasion work ? is it costly ? and should i save up to have it done or just concentrate on skin care of the face ?

Can I go to a doctor that's not my family doctor?

admin June 3rd, 2011

I’m 18 and I suffer from hyperhidrosis, which is a medical condition where you sweat uncontrollably from your armpits. I’ve researched treatments, and botox injections into the armpits seem to be the most effective. (Please don’t try to talk me out of it. I realize botox might not be healthy, but nothing else has worked, and I can’t go through the rest of my life with such an embarrassing condition. I’m tired of trying to hide it and deal with it every moment of every day).

Anyways, my family doctor does not seem very interested in helping me. My mother has left him two messages concerning the problem, and he has yet to contact us.
Would I be able to visit a different family doctor (my friend has one who gave her the injections)? Or do you have to stick with your own?

The Secret is out!!! Galvanic Spa Treatments that can be done at home, but….?

admin April 16th, 2011

If there were a machine the size of a cell phone that firmed skin, diminished wrinkles, firmed underarms and reduced cellulite, and worked with your own skin care products…actually made them work 70% better than normal, and provided immediate results in skin texture, tone and softness, would you buy it? Would you sell it? What would it be worth to you?

How would you go about sharing it with people and selling it in a Direct Sales market when you do not like Direct Sales, but you love the product?

This is already a product. I have it and I love it! I just do not know how to get started in the Direct Sales market. I do not really like Direct Sales, but I know this is going to be huge and I want to get in on it. I have done my research, I have used the machine. It is exactly like the one used in Spas, only it is smaller and can be used comfortably at home. Stocks are booming, it is in forbes, City magazine….on and on. I just am not that big on Direct Sales especially when I think businesses such as gyms, tanning salons, etc…would be the best places to sell it. HELP!
No, I am not trying to sell this on Yahoo, i was truly asking a question to which the plastic surgeon resident missed completely. Yes, it does not "remove" cellulite, I know what cellulite is, it firms the skin and positive and negative ions clean to the dermis and push galvanic treatment gel with positive current much further in the skin then face products alone can. Like I stated, I have been using this, it does work and I can only assume a Plastic Surgeon would not like a product like this, as patients no longer need botox…It is NuSkin.com I was just wanting some help on how to promote such a good product, I now know to stay away from anyone who feels threatened by its results.

If anyone else has a helpful answer as to getting around the direct sales part, I would love the help understanding it. Thanks

Senior Citizens, do you find it strange how many people are seeking to eat healthy?

But, will go on a regular basis for botox injections which paralyzes areas of the face? Is this not an oxymoron? Botox, is a poison…and done for the sake of vanity, not a medical issue.
I am specifically speaking about botox usage for vanity sake.
@ Oldman….AMEN!!

Skin is aging quickly?

admin April 5th, 2011

I am 18 years old.
I use scrubs 3-4 times a week, moisturize in the morning and night with my bobbi brown moisturizer (I have sensitive skin), I use Differin (a retin-A product), take vitamins, watch my diet, use benzaclin for acne, and wear SPF 15 in the winter and SPF 50 in the summer (I only wear SPF 15 in the winter because I live in northern Canada and we don’t get much sun when it’s -35 for four months).

Yet my skin is still flaky, dry (Even if I slather it with vaseline) and wrinkles are developing, especially under my eyes, in the nasolabial folds and around my mouth.

My genes for skin suck, my dad looks about 15 years older than he is and my mum has had a lot of sun damage (although she has also used juvaderm, botox and CO2 lasers so her skin is better than it would be, still, she tanned until she was about 45).

Is there ANYTHING I can do to make my skin better? People always say, "You look so tired" or, "You should take care of your skin" But I DO!

I'm 25, why do people think I'm 35?

admin April 3rd, 2011

Even if some people don’t believe me, I’ve never ever drank any alcoholic beverage, and never smoked in my life. They say those things make you age faster, but I haven’t done them.

Since I was18 people thought I was over 25, but I was 0K with that until I reached 21, and everyone thought I was over 30.

So, for 4 years I’ve done what I can to look younger. I’ve been using moisturizer cream with sun-block religiously every day for 4 years, and avoided the sun. I swim 4 km 4-5 days per week to keep me in shape. I’ve had a lot of discipline doing this, but people still think I’m over 35 when they meet me.

My face has big wrinkles, and even thougth I’ve kept myself in shape, I have a lot of skin hanging from my chin.
I do have my hair, I update my hair style every 3 months, but it doesn’t seem to make look younger.

I think I have no choice, but to get botox, restylane, and some lyposuction on myface.

What else can I do?

18 years old and already sporting wrinkles?!?

admin March 27th, 2011

The truth is, I have developing wrinkles on the bridge of my nose, as seen every morning and night when I peek in the bathroom mirror. So I need a plan on keeping it from getting any further, lest I start aging innapropriately in my 20s.

Any good products out there to keep the wrinkles out of my face?
What about daily rituals or methods that I can try?
Or how about food?
I swear, I’ll take everything so long as it is low cost and self-effecient since I am a degradable college student lacking a trust fund.

***PS: For those of you about to suggest collagen cream as a treatment, it’s a proven fact that they don’t work because actual collagen globules are too big to penetrate the skin through lotion. On the other hand, I don’t think I’ve read up any articles about disproving collagen injections… except the cost, O_O, might be a tad high.

And no, I’m not going to try Botox. Self-poisoning anyone? Really?

:3 Thank you! And by the way, any teens also discovering hidden wrinkles in their bathroom mirror?

Anti Aging Injections?

admin February 23rd, 2011

Hey guys,

Please dont judge me for being curious. I am very young and dont need these injections but I have a huge passion for anti aging dermatology. I was wondering if such a thing existed. I am aware of injectable fillers like Restylane and Collagen. I am also aware of other injections like Botox and Juvederm. But I was wondering if there is vitamins or something like retinols you could inject in the skin to promote ageless, healthy, young skin. For example is their like an injectable moisturizer to penetrate more layers of the skin or is their injectable anti aging ingredients that wouldnt paralyze the muscle or plump the skin but just aid healthy skin. Thanks :)

is there any way to prevent wrinkles and keep your facing looking young and healthy without botox?

admin February 6th, 2011

i recently read an article in the newspaper that in So. CA girls as young as 18-20 were supposedly already getting botox to preserve their skin. I bet they look beautiful and all but what is the best way i can preserve my skin and get it healthy youthful beautiful looking without the use of botox? Including creams facials and such…

Why do people get botox?

admin January 28th, 2011

Why to people get botox? Okay, so forgive me, but I’m only sixteen years old. I don’t want to offend anyone who has had botox. I’m just merely curious. Why do you get it? Most people I’ve heard of having botox, seem to either hate it or others think they looked better before the botox. My aunt recently got botox and her lips look like the jokers… She used to be so pretty. I mean, she is still pretty, but less so. She doesn’t look happy about it, either. I just don’t understand. You’re already beautiful, so why do you try to mess with that? When I’m older, I will embrace my wrinkles. I think it’s a sign that I in fact lived a great life. Wrinkles are just a sign of getting older. Is that why people want to make them disappear? They don’t want to get older? Is that it? It seems like a lot of them want to look like they are 25 again… I would rather just look my age. Another thing, some of them wear way too much makeup. What happened to natural beauty? I don’t see any problem with using a little makeup, but some go way overboard. It’s like they’re wearing a face mask. Have you seen that Today Show episode where Kathy and Hoda bravely took off their makeup? Wow… You know, they didn’t necessarily look bad, but I think the reason they look so much better with makeup, is because over the years, the makeup actually messed up their skin or something. That’s why I just take care of my skin, instead of covering my face up. I don’t think makeup is all that healthy.

Anyway, I want to hear your opinions. When I’m older, if somebody says I should get botox, I’m going to slap them. I know there is a lot of pressure on famous people, but some of them need to learn how to respect themselves and see themselves as beautiful. I’ve heard that women as young as twenty are getting botox or using wrinkle cream… I’m sorry, but that’s just really sad.

Oh, by the way, I never see Meg Ryan in movies anymore. She mysteriously stopped after getting botox for her lips… I wonder if that’s the reason why she hasn’t been in many movies lately?
I have no problem with people using it for health purposes. I have a problem with people who use it just to make themselves ‘prettier’ or ‘younger’…

I am 24 and I have been using those anti-aging creams to prevent wrinkles in my old age. Do they really work?

admin January 16th, 2011

In my field of work I deal with a lot of elders. I have grown cautious of how I take care of my skin in my youth. I have been using some anti-aging products and I was wondering if there are any studies that show that these products actual work. I can’t see myself using Botox or having surgery later on in life, but I still want to look "fresh" and wrinkle free. I have also heard and (see) that the more melanoma in the skin, the better the skin ages. There are some 40something black women in my master’s program and I swear they look 25! Plus, I see women in there 50s who use to tan and they look extremely wrinkled. Is there something black women are using that the rest of women don’t know about?

does botox really get rid of wrinkles?

admin December 9th, 2010

In a few weeks I will be getting the botox treatment for the first time! Do any of you know if it will really minimize wrinkles? I have a deep wrinkle between my eyebrows from squinting a lot and at age 37 it really bothers me a lot. I dont have any deep wrinkles, because I take care of skin, but that one wrinkle has bothered me the last 2 years and I get depressed when I see my pictures. Am I doing the right thing getting botox?

anyone out there know how to really stop wrinkles and saging skin without botox or surgery?

admin November 10th, 2010

I am getting wrinkles and sags in my face and don’t like it–makeup only enhances the wrinkles–is there a way to prevent these without expensive creams. botox or surgery?

Is Dermitage skin cream really effective at removing facial wrinkles?

admin October 8th, 2010

I have severe crows nests and a lot of drooping/ around my eyelids. I’ve given minor thought to Botox but the thought of having a needle physically inserted into my face scares the living daylight out of me. I’ve heard some good things but just curious if a topical ointment can really be that effective? Anyone have any personal experience?

Is it safe for a person with kidney failure to have botox injections?

admin September 10th, 2010

I realise that botox is still a bit of an ‘unknown quantity’ even where healthy individuals are concerned, but does anyone know if botox injections in the face would affect people with kidney failure any worse than a ‘normal’ person? Can’t find any info about this anywhere….. even ‘askanything’ couldn’t help!

What are your favorite facial skin care products?

admin September 7th, 2010

My Favorite Facial Skin Care Products:
my favorite facial cleanser — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Apple Brightening Cleanser (for hyperpigmentation and age spots) and MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ White Cranberry Cleanser (for my oily t-zone)
my favorite toner — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Apple Brightening Mist (for hyperpigmentation and age spots) and MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Fruit Enzyme Mist (for my oily t-zone)
my favorite serum — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Apple Brightening Serum (for hyperpigmentation and age spots), MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Perfect C Serum (to reduce wrinkles on my forehead) and MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ NoTox Anti-Wrinkle Serum (to reduce wrinkles on my forehead and it is cheaper than getting Botox injections and works great but it is not an over-night miracle serum)
my favorite exfoliant — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Fruit Enzyme Scrub
my favorite masks — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Guava Cactus Mask (for forehead wrinkle reduction and moisture for my cheeks) and MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Cranberry Mud Mask (for my oily t-zone)
my favorite peel — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Apple Brightening Peel
my favorite moisturizer — MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Supreme Polypeptide Cream (unscented for my sensitive cheeks) (for incredible forehead wrinkle reduction and great moisture boosting results) and MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Oil Free Grapefruit Cream (for my oily t-zone)

http://www.mychelleusa.com/

Some of MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ products are expensive like the Supreme Polypeptide Cream (in either scented or unscented) which is for a small bottle but they work to fight off wrinkles on my forehead that I am too young to have and that is what matters to me. I can’t afford Botox and I know now how not to make those facial expressions that help to cause those unflattering lines on the forehead.
Hyperpigmentation is discoloration caused by the sun and from aging which prevents you from having that flawless porcelain skin. I am only in my thirties so I am doing all that I can to look young.
I love to use pure aloe vera on my face too. I don’t like the aloe vera that is sold at Target.

My favorite aloe vera is Aubrey Organics’ Pure Aloe Vera.

My favorite eye makeup remover is Aubrey Organics’ Makeup Remover.

admin July 22nd, 2010

I’m a 25 year-old male, but I feel like my worn face makes me look much older (people always misjudge my age). I shave with an electric razor to avoid cuts, but I still feel that my face is wrinkled and I always have bags under my eyes. How do today’s young male celebrities look so amazing? Are they getting more sleep? Is it a skin cream? Is it botox? Please help me look young again. I’ll try anything
