I have very scaly, dry and thick skin on my forhead due to at least a year of vigorous exfoliating and harsh salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide creams. Is there any way to get my old skin back quickly? Thanks.

Need information ranging from what soap or facial wash to use to anti-acne creams, etc. Please help! My breakouts just won’t give up and benzoyl peroxide (Panoxyl) cream gives me dark spots on the acne area that’s equally difficult to remove. Is there any other anti-acne cream out there that doesn’t darken the acne area? I’m planning to buy Proactiv. Is it any good?

im in the 9th grade and i’ve had mild acne for about 3 years already. i have tried most products such as clean and clear and over the counter products such as proactive. when i used these products with benzoyl peroxide i would get red bumps on my face and it wouldnt go away until after a week. i was wondering what or which brand of skin care poducts i could use for those who have sensitive skin. i trust neutrogena, it makes my skin very soft and clean, but i dont want to use any acne treatment kits. if you have some products to recommend to me that would be great, i have tried almost everything and im tired of looking through new products that might not even improve my skin. I just have some acne on my forehead and I just want to get rid of it, or at least reduce it and prevent new ones from forming because I’m starting high school in late August. I can’t use anything with benzoyl peroxide because even if I just use a little bit, my skin gets red and irritated. What is the best acne treatment for people like me?
