I was on proactive years ago and i had seen results fairly quickly. my acne was mild tho. i had been off it for a while then decided to go back just weeks ago. Ive been on it again for 3 weeks and I have more severe acne. MY skin is very oily. And Im not so sure that proactive is a good treatment for me now. So I wonder what are other acne treatments for moderate/severe acne? Also that the price is within budget of under . As a returned user of proactive I was only charged and some change, which I thought was great. Thanks for any help.

I am 25 and I want to start taking REALLY good care of my skin so that I will not get wrinkles for a LONG, LONG time (fingures crossed). What do you think is the best stuff to use?
I have very clear skin, no acne, no oily or overly dry skin issues either.
S&S M must not have read my question before they decided to answer it. I am looking for anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and just good healthy skin care products. I do not need info on zits because (luckily) I don’t have these types of problems. I get the occasional zit but they are very far and few between. So the info given about acne treatments was a waste of your time.

what would you reccomend from personal usage for acne treatments? My skin is kinda oily and i have used : Proative , differin ( wich only made my skin feel more oily than before and is crap) and now i just wash my face with Dove and use achohol to take away oil and dry my breakouts out. I get the worse acne on my side of the face , chin and forehead , right now mainly above the eyebrows , weird place for it , i know. Oh , and my cheeks! I’m thinking about Clearisal but theres soo many products what do i choose ? SPF , etc ……
help me please i got differin from the dermatologist , which that product sucks butt i would never use it again and for its a waste of money. i wish to get rid of my breakouts becuase i stress more when i do. what bout acne control from neatrogena ? any good ? Ohh , and a good foundation or mineral make out that wont cause more acne ? im looking for a mineral cover up to apply but whats on that wont make my skin worse ? thanks.

Over the counter acne treatments (benzoyl peroxide) work GREAT–get my skin free and clear of acne.
However I hate to keep using it b/c it’s drying to the skin. For me, dry face = wrinkles and premature aging. My skin doesnt look supple and moisturizers bring back ance.
Problem is, once I discontinue using benzoyl peroxide, pimples come back full force.
What can I do?
Proactive works too but it’s also benzoyl peroxide. The moisturizers they make breed acne and slow healing.
Salicylic acid doesnt work as well for me but I’m sure that since it’s an acid it will probably dry the skin out with long term use.
Can anyone recommend a simple regimin that keeps acne away without the use of drying products.
Or can anyone recommend a moisturizer or night cream that you have used that doesnt bring back your acne.

Hey there. I need something to help to stall the aging process (within reason, I dont expect miracles) that isn’t going to make me break out like a leper.
Anyone have any luck with a product like that?
Shoot, anyone have any luck just with a night cream of ANY sort that doesnt make you break out – because my skin tends to be dry from acne treatments.
Lemme know if you know of any
Thanks a bunch

I have extremely dry skin, however I still have a problem with acne on my chin and the sides of my cheeks. I was wondering what acne treatments or face washes work well for getting rid of acne but won’t dry out my skin more than what it already is. Thanks!

I’ve used proactive and skin id for about 6 months each, without noticing any favorable results. I have mild acne, 21 years old, on a healthy diet and exercise 5 days a week. Any suggestions on acne treatments that work?

I have very oily skin. I’ve used proactive but it seems to make my skin more oily than it is. I’ve also use origins but that did not help at all. Right now, I’m using Indian clay and I haven’t noticed muh diffeence. so, can you please suggest any acne treatments that can be effective for oily skin!?!?!?

Getting married in a couple of months and would like to know what your thoughts are on this product? How much is it? Is is worth it? How long does it take to work? things like that, any and all info would be very helpful. I am Native American and I’ve heard that it can cause your skin color to be uneven if you are darker skinned, Is that true? and also is it like some acne treatments that can cause you to burn in the sun because of an ingredient (sp?) in it? Thanks for all answers in advance!! : )
