I’m meeting with my dermatologist to discuss going on acne treatment. The problem is, I’m going to be with my mom, who I haven’t told I was having sex yet. I need to be put on something that won’t interfere with the effectiveness of my birth control. Anyone know of one that actually works? I’m looking for an oral treatment since creams and gels don’t work for me and only dry out my skin.
I’m ON birth control, and it didn’t help.

Every time i use my acne treatment, my skin is always dry, red, and warm. So i put on the toner and lotion, and that seems to help the dryness. However, it still remains blotchy red around the bridge of my face, and kind of warm. The treatment, toner, etc. works for my acne extremely well, compared to anything else i’ve used in the past. Even later in the day, my skin is still red. Why is this happening? It never happened before, just when I wash it. D: Help.

I just saw this new acne treatment on TV, but I can’t remember the name of it. The treatment is supposed to be customizable for different skin types. It is not proactive. It’s New. Has anyone heard of it? If so, what is the name?

hi im 15 and i was wondering about night creams…
its for lifts.
and i was wondering if this is to young of an age…
my face has been dry because of acne treatments… I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THE TREATMENTS even if they dry me out. i uses moisturizers…
iv been told that dryness is the number one cause of wrinkles and iv noticed that my face has gotten lines on my face… the start from wrinkles.
SO IF I USED THE NIGHT CREAM NOW AT 15… COULD THAT HARM ME IN THE LONG RUN.
like will it cause bad skin later or something.
and yea i know that i should move from the acne treatment but im not changing it iv spent so much on different protects and this is the main one that really works for me.
oh and im not going to keep using the night cream for ever… just up untill the acne is gone and i can stop using it.

Alright so I’m using Clean and Clear Advanced acne treatment and im wondering if I should use a bar soap on my face during taking a shower and apply it again after I get out or should I face dry skin after because I washed it with soap? Ive heard of skin irritation from using a bar soap and acne treatment.

I am looking for a skin regime that you can use daily. It has to be 100% pure and gentle for your skin. It has to help fight 100% acne, blackheads, breakouts, sensitive skin, and oily skin. I need a system that gets rid of unclean skin and shows results no later than thirty days. I am not looking for name brands that are selling on t.v. or the over the counter medicine. I am looking for a acne treatment that is proven to work and nothing that has to do with pharmecticual ingriedents.

I have combination skin (normal/dry skin on cheeks and side of face and oily skin on my forehead, nose and chin). my acnes not that bad, its like moderate. I mostly get lots of skin colored small pimples and sometimes big red ones. the little skin colored ones are really annoying and ive used proactiv, acnefree, clean&clear advantage and clinique. proactiv worked for a while then stopped working, acnefree kept my skin the same, clinique dried my skin out, so clear and clear is the best acne treatment ive used but wondering if theres something better.
ive heard of something called exposed, is that any good? or zenmed or any of those brands?
also are there any good prescription creams available at the dermatologist?
kthanks

I usually use the Murad Cleanser, and just the Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion. I don’t use the exfoliating acne treatment gel that comes in the kit. My mom says that after you put the exfoliating acne treatment gel on, you’re suppose to wash it off, but the instruction says nothing of that. Is that true?

A lot of Christians around my university were wearing black stuff on their foreheads today. Is this some type of forehead acne treatment? How does it work and where can I get some?

I am 10 weeks pregnant, up until 8 weeks I was using an this acne treatment on my face, not everyday but often. I told the doctor today and he told me to stop, but he made me worried, that I could have harmed the baby? He actually was really mean and made me cry, maybe its because I’m very emotional and worried. Well I have stopped using it completely for 2 weeks now, and am never going to use it again. Can anybody give me some support or information if you have used any products like this and had a healthy child?

What do you use? How many steps? What is your skin type?
———————————————————————-
My skin type: Oily|Sensitive|Pigmented|Wrinkled
———————————————————————-
Cleanser (AM|PM) – Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin
Exfoliant (AM|PM) – Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment with 2% salicylic acid
Acne Medication (AM|PM) – Clearasil StayClear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide (Morning) & Clearasil Daily Adult Tinted Treatment Cream with 8% sulfur & 2% resorcinol (Night)
Oil-Absorbent (AM) – OC Eight Professional Mattifying Gel
Sunscreen (AM) – Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 55
Pressed Powder (AM) – Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder Compact SPF 20
————————————————————————————————-
I do not use a scrub because it irritates my skin. I do not use a toner because I find it unnecessary. I do not use a moisturizer because I am oily and do not want to get oilier.I apply my oil-absorbent on top of my sunscreen to soak up excess oil through the morning. I reapply my sunscreen with my pressed powder during the day. However, I blot with a clean tissue paper first and then I layer my skin with pressed powder.
What do you think of the products that I use?

hi, so im a 15 year old female, and i was looking for some acne products to help my skin.
I have a few pimples here and there, but my biggest problem is the scars left behind from previous blemishes. It gets really embarrassing, and i hate having to put on a bunch of foundation, and concealers. So does anyone know a good acne treatment system that would help? I have very sensitive skin, and many treatments dry my skin out, causing more breakouts. =/
Any help?
thanks everyone<3

I am in search of a good acne treatment kit for sensitive skin. I cannot use benzoyl peroxide products, as I have an allergy to them. I would prefer a kit that isn’t loaded with parabens and other harsh chemicals. I’ve found that the less chemicals there are in the products I use on my skin, the better. Any suggestions on kits containing a cleanser, moisturizer, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
My acne is mild to moderate.

I am going to use Cetaphil and also a tropical acne treatment called Ziana, will this combination irritate my skin? I have oily skin/ combo skin

I recently started using a 3-step acne treatment by Clean and Clear to control the mild to moderate acne that I have on my face. So far, it is working great, but my skin is starting to feel dry as a result of using the treatment twice a day (the recommended amount). Is there a moisturizer anyone could recommend that I could use to combat this dryness, but that won’t clog my pores or cause my acne to worsen again? I tend to have oily skin and the dryness is only the result of my acne products.
